They had plenty of merchandise for Enchanted, but still they decided not to add Giselle to the princess roster. I think stipulation is that princess has to be animated for the entire film and it has to a classic tale like Cinderella.

I agree. More so about the classic tale thing... and the fact that Giselle stayed un-animated at the end. If she'd gone back to animation at the end then maybe...

A couple nights ago, I found a bunch of Tangled clips on youtube... I think somebody recorded them in the theater. Now that I think about it, that's illegal, isn't it? I shouldn't have watched them...
But anyway I watched them, and now I've seen about half the movie, including the end. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!!! (but now I feel really guilty, since I shouldn't have watched pirated clips, although it did not occur to me at the time. *headdesk*

who were they by do you know? I may have watched them also. After seeing it in theatres I wanted to find as many clips as possible,,,

Disney has been too fixating on preserving the 2D animation style (Beauty and Beast, Aladdin, and etc.) that they've ignored what is popular in present. 3D animation like Pixar is dominating the box office and finally Disney has decided to start making films in this format and big suprise, audiances like it. XD

Tomorrow, my sister and I are going to see Tangled in 3D at our local theater!
*happy dance* We had planned that if we saw it, we would watch in in 2D to save money, but my mom said, "I don't have time to drive you to the only theater in our area that has it in 2D. You're going to have to watch it in 3D."My sister was kinda disappointed, but I was like YEAHHHHH!!!!

I've seen it twice in 3D and IDK how my third time will be (one week!! )
The only thing I've heard is better about the 2D is that the colors look brighter without those glasses covering them. They look perfectly fine in 3D though, so I can't complain.

That won't bother me that much... Seeing something in 3D can only happen in the theater, so you might as well enjoy the opportunity while you can. You can watch the movie 2D all you want if you buy/rent it over and over again. xD

I have just read Rapunzel by the Brothers Grim. It was quite different than Tangled save for long lush blond hair, tower, and a witch like character.
LOL! I never liked at all the versions of the 'Rapunzel' fairy tale that I have read. When I was young, they scared me, and was when I was older, I thought it was dumb. So when I heard that Disney was making a Rapunzel movie, I was like, "YUCK!" But then I watched the trailer, for I was bored. I was like, "THIS IS DISNEY?! This can't be Disney- it's too beautiful, creative, witty, and enthralling!!!!"I have just read Rapunzel by the Brothers Grim.
