The Kingdom Dance has a very Renassiance Faire/Medieval quality to it.

One thing that looks really cool is all of the medieval culture. This was something that other Disney princess movies lack. They're all set in fairyland, which doesn't really look like real medieval times. But from the Tangled bits I've seen, it looks like they actually live in that kind of culture, which is totally sweet.

Eh, that is true.
I was interested that in one part of Tangled Flynn is showing Rapunzel books about the world and they're looking at an atlas - which is actually a map of our globe.
Though, Beauty and Beast is clearly set in France. They speak it numerous times and Lumiere (sp?) even says it at one point.

Aladdin is set in an albeit fictional country but it seems more like our world than The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella

I haven't watched Aladdin in years, but didn't the fat narrator guy say that it happened in Arabia?
And I always thought Cinderella happened in France.
That kinda sounds familiar...
I don't know either way. Maybe Cinderella happened in France, but it never had that feel about it. It seemed more like a fairy tale than a fairy tale happening in real life.
That doesn't make much sense, but I'm not sure how else to explain my thoughts.

I just saw Aladdin on TV a week ago, it takes place in Arabia. In fact, the orignal book it is based on is amply titled Arabian Nights.
Back to Tangled, well my passion for the film has waned since I saw Tron. XD
I doubt Disney will be dismayed, since they produced both films.

I've considered purchasing the Tangled Video Game on the Wii, but I'm not certain its worth the money. I thought it might be like the Prince Caspian game, but instead it looks like its a puzzle/mini game type of video game.
