SPeedy got up from his bed in the infirmary and overheard Starfire and Batgirl talking about Robin.

'What's wrong with him?" he asked.
 
Starfire turned towards Speedy and replied, "I think he took his defeat against the Joker a bit too hard and wants to be left alone for a little while."

"But I'm assuming he's faced him dozens of times in the past., and had a similar thing happen. Why should this be any different?"
 
Argent shrugged and said, "If you say so. If you want to do something with me and Ice Hawk later, let me know. I'll be in my room if you need me." She went off to her room to get a little rest just in case they were going to face the Joker again or the Puppet King later.

Kole sat down and stared out the window. Eventually, she dozed off.

"That doesn't sound like you, Starfire," said Speedy. "Typically, you'd go right up to his room, or track him down some how and ask him no matter what he insisted upon."
 
Starfire sighed because she wished that Speedy didn't know her so well and said, "I just wanted to see how you and Batgirl were faring before I went off to his room to see what was wrong with him. Are you two alright?"

Batgirl looked at the two. "This always happens. Robin doesn't like to talk to people about what happened. And the difference between now and every other time is Batman. When we fought Joker with Batman Robin was never in charge. This time he was in charge and he failed. It's hard for him."
 
Starfire listened to what Batgirl said and nodded her head like she understood. She was quiet for awhile and then said, "I'm going to go check on him and see if he's ok." She left the infirmary and went to Robin's room and knocked. She asked, "Robin, are you ok?"
 
Robin heard Starfire's voice from the otherside of the door. He knew there was no avoiding talking to her. He opened the door and let her in.

"No, Star, I'm not."
