"Ah, the gym. Yeah, let's check that out." Musica looked around. "Is there a map to this place? I have no idea where to go."

"It was sometime after my parents died. Batman took me under his wing as his sidekick. The night I first dawned this costume, I took anoath, vowing to defend and protect the innocent and fight against crime in all forms. I also vowed that when the time came, I would branch out on my own, continuing the war on crime. I think, maybe this time has come."

Star listened with intent to the story Robin was telling. After he was done, the last thing he said was stuck in her mind. She asked, "Does that mean that you're going to continue fighting crime on your own?"

"No!" said Robin. "Of coruse not. I would never think of leaving you or the team. It's just something the Joker said. He said that I would always be Batman's second bannana sidekick. The fact is, ever one immeidatly identifes me with Batman. It's Batman and Robin: the dynamic duo. I need to be more then Robin. I think it's time for the little bird to grow up. I need to be come something, someone just as good as Batman. I have to become the night, just as he did."

Starfire hung her head for a minute and thought back to the time she went back in time and found that the Titans were no longer a team. Cy was in the Tower all by his lonesome trying to recharge his long dead battery, Raven was in a warehouse, Beast Boy was in a cage performing for people, and Robin was out fighting crime. She thought hard to remember that name that he called himself. Star put her head back up and asked, "Why don't you call yourself Nightwing?"

"Yes, Nightwing," he said. " That's it. In a way it honors who I was trained by as well as who I was. Thank you, Star."

He gave her a quick hug and hurried over to a blank wall. He pressed a button and it slid open. behind the wall was a glass case.

In the case was a black costume with an emblem of a blue hawk. "I've had this costume in storage for a long time. Since I came here, to be exact. Somehow, Robin never worked with it."

"You're welcome," she replied. She was a bit shocked and surprised about the hug but on the inside, she was happy about it. After looking at the costume, she remembered that it was the same thing she saw him wearing during the timeframe that the Titans weren't a team anymore. Slowly she asked, "Have you had that costume since the time we celebrated Blorthog and I told you what you were called twenty years from now?"

"Actually, no," said Robin. " Sometime after I left Gotham, I traveled around the world studying various techniques in martial arts, escape arts, and acrobatics . I came up with this costume in South America. "

Robin headed inside his costume vault to change his costume. He could tell something was bothering Starfire. It was that possibility that her vision of the future may come to past.

"Don't worry, Star," he called from inside the vault. "I don't think this will mean the team will split up. Do you know why?"

Star listened intently to what he was saying and was surprised that he's been elsewhere besides this city. She asked, "Did you know that you were going to need it sometime after you left there or did you just want to be prepared?"

"Well, I kept it as a momento of my travels, but I always hoped the day would come when I'd need it. Plus Batman always taught me to be prepared."
