In my opinion Arwen reflects the tranquil and enchanting beauty.. while Eowyn reflects the ruggid wild beauty.

The contrast is like the Twilight and the Dawn, both hold their own kind of beauty.

Arwen is pure beauty. Even though Eowyn is of course the heroine in this story I never cared that much about her. I don't hate her at all but she isn't my favorite. The same with Legolas. I never cared about him even though he was a very strong member of the fellowship
