I think there IS vanity in Cosby Show. Just look at Vanessa.
Come to think of it, there actually was an episode about Vanessa and the rule for her not to wear makeup (she was 13 or 14 according to the episode, I think). So... I'd say the message was against vanity.
If I had to say I have an episode that I'd watch now, it'd be the goldfish episode. I think it was the 2nd episode of the series. When Rudy was cute!
Actually, Keshia's grown to be very pretty, if you see recent photos. :)

Well, I'm just saying that she seemed to be the one who cared the most about her appearance. Why would a teen girl wear makeup? In fact, why do any of us girls wear makeup? To be prettier. To cover up our skin's flaws. So I think that Vanessa, even though her parents didnt' want her wearing makeup, is a (somewhat) vain character. I don't see how her parents not wanting her to wear makeup is anti-vanity; it's just a lot of parents back in the day wouldn't let their daughters wear makeup until a certain age (for example, look at the episode of Full House, "I'm not D.J.!". Stephanie wanted her ears pierced because all her friends had pierced ears, but her dad wouldn't allow her because he felt like she was too young. Not much difference).

I've seen recent pics of Keshia. She was on Fox News the other day. Have to say, she's much better looking than Raven.

I watched a couple of episodes of the Cosby Show last night. One of episodes was Dennise returning from college for a few days. I believe it was either the third or fourth season.

I watched two great episodes of the Cosby Show, one was end of the episode when Cliff is trying to go to a auction to get a record but is instead stuck helping take care of some kids at pre school. The second was the Big Family Barbecue where all the husbands and wives save for Cliff and Clare get in big fight over several issues that originate from Theo's decision to give Marven a belated bachelors party.

One of my favorite episodes is where Rudy dreams that Olivia gets whatever she wants and her parents are being unfair to her... poor Rudy!
Another one of my favorites is where they play out what it would be like to live in the real world for Theo... I think he wanted to move for college or something...
AND ANOTHER, when Marvin proposed to Sandra. :D

Those are some great episodes, especially the one about the family turning thier house into the real world to teach Theo a lesson.

That episode is hilarious! Especially how Denise laughs. and Martin is the innocent bystander. I just thought of something; Theo reminds me of Eddie from Family Matters, but I prefer Eddie. :D

I watched a couple episodes of The Cosby Show. Two of most memorable is the episode when Cliff dreams that he, Theo, Charles, and Bob get pregnant and the other being the big Thanksgiving episode were Cliff keeps getting sent out int the rain to the grocery store to fetch eggs, eggnut, canned pumpkin and etc. .
