Both are good men, but I will choose Tirian for his bold stand for Aslan (Christ) in the last days of Narnia. He was willing to give up his life for the truth and came very close to actually doing so, so for that I applaud him.
Longbow or recurve? (The difference is in the limbs of the bow, and recurves are usually shorter, for those who aren't familiar with archery.)
Assuming I was ever strong enough to use any heavy bow to good effect, I would choose the recurve bow, because a proper English longbow and its Japanese counterpart are longer than I am tall. I would always be knocking into things when carrying a longbow.
One long two-handed sword, or a shorter sword in EACH hand? (I personally favor the second choice, as it offers simultaneous defense and attack.)
