Leila duck like Acela said to. She didn't mind caves (she knew bats were in there) but she didn't like it when the walls were getting too close...

Arcturus ducked just in time and quickly move his hand to his chest. The vial that had to be filled with fire flower's elixir almost falls off the inside pocket of his vest. It was then that he remembered the importance of what they were attempting: Destiny's life was in the balance. They must succeed at all costs.

"Hey, Leila, i mean Rexina, can you use your plazma over in that direction, there is some creature, it's not a bat though, its much bigger."she said pointing to a direction, and whispering. She used her powers to make it so the creature was blind against light.

Saphire ducked and kept walking. She had never been in a cave for this long and was glad that Acela was there to light it up a little bit. She felt her heart thumping and tried to control herself. She had a memory trying to creep into her mind of the last time she was in an under water cave and almost drowned. She started clutching at her dress and fighting to keep the memory out.

Leila brought the light closer to Acela. She passed Saphire, who seemed to be having one of her episodes(so Leila thought), and rolled her eyes.
"Come no time to lolly gag." she said.

"Okay, just use your plazma ray in that direction to blast whatever that thing is over there, I think it may be some type of animal, but it's the only one in here, don't worry."she said pointing Leila in a direction.

Leila thrusted her hand forward, but instead of releasing the plasma first she wanted to see what it was. To her happy surprise it was a wolf pup. But it was huddled around his dead mother, and sadly enough some of his siblings. She went over to him. He cowered and even growled at her, but once she started to sing a lulliby of her people, the pup stop growling. He was, however, shaking from both the coldness of the cave and fear.

She wrapped him in her cloak and walked to the others to show them.
"Just a baby," she said, "he won't slow us down, I have some meat in that bag," she pointed to Arcturus whom she had asked to hold it for her. "Once fed he'll be fine."

Arcturus gave Leila the bag, then he got water from his canteen and and held a cupful of it floating and balancing on his hand. He gave the pup a drink.

"It's as well," he said, "that you ladies will care for it. But I will not let it slow me down. I need that fire flower."

And with that, he put the water away and looked ahead into the cave as far as he could see.

"Besides, whatever killed its mother is out there," he said still looking into the deep. "It will smell the pup and come after us. We'll need to hurry."

"True," Leila said, "but you need to stop being so anxious, if it can smell the pup it will smell your fear, no matter what it is. Now pull yourself together and come on." She walked with the pup cradled in her arms giving him meat all the while she had a plasma blast orbit her body, creating light as she walked. She looked to Acela, though, to be the main source of light.

Sienna walked silently with the others and suddenly felt a large watery substance fall on her head. She looked up and got another drop right in her face. "Great..." she said as she was walking under a small leak in the cave "I'll be a walking mud monster" She giggled after she said it. She followed once again looking at the small wolf pup that Leila had in her arms.

"Who said anything about fear?" Retorted Arcturus with impatience.

"The longer we linger her, the worse it is for Destiny. I'll go alone if I have to and you can stay here caring for an entire pack. Destiny is what I am thinking. Not pups!."

Arcturus had never spoken like this before to anyone, but then again, he had never before been in love. And with that, he moved along not waiting for the others.

"Hey! I am useing a lot of my power so you can get this flower, so don't yell, got that?!"she asked, she was not very happy with his mood. She walked ahead of everyone.

Sienna bit her lip and kept quiet. She became worried that the group was falling apart, slowly. She continued walking with the group trying to stay close to Acela so that she could see.

Acela shined her light on something in the corner, it was a poisonious snake, who looked very angry and threatening, she zapped it with a lightning bolt,it collapsed, she kept walking.

"Um ok?" Leila said in a haughty tone, "no need for the attitude, I was looking out for you. Everyone knows your enemy can smell fear. Yours is losing your precious Destiny. So I'd buck up, be a man, and just get the stupid flower. No need to be so angstsy. The world wont come to an end with out her any how. Now, Acela, there is a path to your right. Should we take that one or keep strait?"

Leila was actually impressed Acela snapped at Arcturus.

"I hate to give you the news, Queen Leila, but yes, the world may come to an end without Destiny. We would not be here is Destiny was not THAT important."

"Obviously," thought Arcturus, "royalty does not automatically buy you class."

But he did not say this. What he said out loud was "Just keep moving please."
