When Arcturus saw the King, he bowed down and said:

"Your Majesty, I have done the work you sent me to do. I am ready to help Destiny recover."

King Arcturus nodded at him. "All you need to do is have one drop of the elixir onto Destiny's lips and have her drink it." He told him. As Arcturus stood the king added. "Do not worry what Leila, or anyone else, says or does."

ooc: good enough

Terran stood watching the king and Arcturus. She felt bad. She hadn't been much help during this adventure. She turned to go as Arcturus stood up.

"Arcturus saw Terran walking off and he called her.

"Terran, thank you for all your help out there. You are a very important part of this quest. I am sure we will need your power in more ways than you can imagine."

After this, Arcturus walked to Destiny's room.

Terran sighed. "Ya sure." She muttered. "I did great. I didn't do anything. No one even noticed I was there." She sat down in the hall and put her head in her hands.

Arcturus turned back and said:

"I noticed, and I am sure the King noticed. And I do thank you with all my heart."

Acela stopped warming her up so much, not want to give her a fever. "Destiney, its me, Acela, I am here helping you."she said to her, not dure if she was concious yet or not.

Arcturus entered the room and saw the Doctor there again, helping Destiny. He moved slowly and saw Destiny still laying there with no change since he last saw her. The only thing different was that she now had a curious red line across her forehead. He didn’t even get angry this time. Instead, he knelt beside her and said a little prayer. Then, he pulled the vial containing the Fire Flower’s elixir out of his vest pocket and stared at it. The liquid inside it still shone like melted gold.

He opened the lid and placed the vial about a centimeter above Destiny’s pale lips. The liquid began to pour very slowly. To Arcturus it looked like raw honey, only thicker and brighter.

A drop fell

A miniature explosion seemed to flash in Destiny’s lips where the drop touched.

Another

The same little explosion, only this time, Destiny moved and seemed to sigh. And to make sure, Arcturus held the vial over her lips for a little longer.

A third drop

This time Arcturus saw (and felt himself) this warm light begin to race, slowly at first but soon gaining speed, from Destiny’s lips to the rest of her body.

A marvel of marvels happened as the light reached Destiny’s forehead. The red mark immediately burned up and disappeared. Destiny’s skin was the color of Ember and it looked as radiant as the rest of her face. It was obvious to Arcturus that this flower not only will bring back Destiny from the spell of the shadow being, but it will also deliver her from any other evil spell. The power of the fire flower was something that Leila and that other evil shadow had not counted on.

Arcturus smiled. His Destiny was waking up, free and whole, as if nothing had ever happened to her. There were no spells, no red marks, either on her body or her spirit. She was the Destiny he saw and fell in love with, but this time she looked even more radiant, more alive.

Destiny lie still dreaming. She fealt something against her lips and a warm sensation stir through her. NOt only her body but her soul.

Destiny stirred and tried to open her eyes. And they did. Her brown-orange eyes blinked open. She saw Arcturus looking down at her.

"What happened?" She asked. Her eyes burned for a moment.

"Destiny!" He said. And he could contained himself no longer. He embraced her and held her in his arms feeling the newfound warmth and life that had rushed through her.

"You were under a spell, but you are free now."

Acela smiled, "Hey, Destiney, I am happy you are better, I was the one warming you up earlier, you were freezing."she said.

"Now, I will leave you two alone,"she said smileing, then left the room. She started down the hall.

Arcturus turned to Acela.

"Thank you Acela, for all your help," he said, still embracing Destiny.

"My pleasure,"she called from the hall, she walked into her bed chameber, she changed to a new dress, a bright yellow gown, and sat down in an armchair, she relaxed.

Destiny thanked Acela and blushed once she was alone with Arcturus. She pulled back from his hug.

"What?" She asked seeing the look in his eyes.

"A shadow attacked you when we were almost at the gates of King Mizar's castle and put a spell on you. Right now, we are at the King's Castle, in Cross. Apparently the King believes that you are to play a very important tole on this adventure."
