Leila lifted a curious eyebrow.
Pure of heart? she wondered, that was lost a long time ago. Surely I made it clear I'm too jaded.

Acela whipped her tears off her cheek. Then she squeezed her pendant on her necklace.
"Lord Ellonai also has chosen Destiny Rose, Daughter of Fire, and Arcturus Rain, Son of Water for something important in this task. They represent the the opposite elements but Lord Ellonai wants to show everyone that nothing is impossible for him."

Destiny listened intently [sp?] to what King MIzar said. The Princess was surprised when he said she was important.

Acela listened intently, but, looked at her necklace, her mother had given her before she died.
King Mizar spoke again, as if he knew what they were all thinking.
"However," he said, "everyone here will be assigned a specific task. You were all called because each and everyone of you is needed. Those powers you have over elements were not given to you by accident but by design. Each one is important in for this task. But in addition to that, your job will be to protect Princess Destiny, and if needed be, Master Arcturus Rain."

Destiny gasped at the words. Protected?From what? She looked up at Arcturus.

Acela looked up at the king. "Your Majesty? May I ask, who is this Lord Ellonai?"she asked him.
"Ah, yes Daughter of Light," said the king with a kindly smile. "I am sure in your lands there are stories of our Kingdom being ruled by a powerful wizard but let me tell you, he is none of that sort."
He paused for a minute.
"Lord Ellonai is the creator of all things. He established this kingdom with his own power, he created our world. In fact, he rules over all the worlds in this universe and in other universes. He is know by many names and his servants are many. He gave you the powers and he called you here so that through you, His name might be made known to all the kingdoms."
Then he turned to everyone. "And now hear your task:"
He paused for a minute.

Destiny looked from Acela to King MIzar. She fealt a connection to this Ellonai every second.
OOC: for everyone sorry. I will edit that post.

"Far from here and across the sea, there is an island called Faerience. In this Island there is a sacred place, a special place where Lord Ellonai first walked at the dawn of time. But the Island of Faerience now has been defiled by a great evil. You all must go to that Island and defeat this evil. Everyone will have a task and you will all be successful if you work well together."
The king motioned for Lord Aasen to bring and the show them the charts with the exact position of Faerience.
"You must travel there and deal with this evil, should you fail, or should one of you causes the others to fail, that evil will not only destroy this kingdom but yours as well. This is why you must not fail."
"You all have powers, but your powers are raw and untested. Even though some of you think you can do anything, you can't. Not against this evil. For this reason, you will go to our coast. There is a cottage there... well, it is more than a cottage. You will go and stay there for a few weeks. You will stay there and train, and learn to control your powers and to purify your hearts."
He paused again.
"Lord Ellonai will give me a signal when He thinks you are all ready to go to Faerience. In the meantime, stay there and learn as much as you can."

Lord Aasen brought the maps to the king and had everyone crowd araound to view it.
Leila was less than happy to stay cooped up with these people. But more than anything she wanted to protect her land.
Throughout the king's speech, Leila couldn't help but notice that when he spoke negativly it seemed like he was talking about her. It figured, but she wondered why. Then the jaded heart came to her mind and then she realised that everyone here, even Terran, had a more pure heart than she...
