Oh, no! Poor Fire and Tansy!:(

;)^^^

“Fire! Tansy! Where are you?” Hope called them softly. She felt horrid at what she was going to do, but she dared not disobey Shady and have her siblings killed, so she agreed to help with the kittennapping.

“Sssh! Mozie might be around!” Fire whispered.
“Oh, are you playing hide and look then?”
“No hides and wook chase! Mozie came up wit it! Its brilitiant isn’t it?” explained Tansy.
“Yeah, brilliant.” Hope seemed faraway though, her voice distant and sad, but the kittens didn’t notice.

“You better hides too Hopie, or Mozie ‘ll find ya!” Fire squeaked.
“Actually I had a message for you kits. You and your brothers and sister that is.”
“Ooo! Tells us, miz Hopie!” Tansy wiggled closer to the entrance of their hiding spot so she could hear better.
“It’s a secret message and you mustn’t tell anyone but your brothers and sister, understood?” cautioned Hope.

“We promise!” cried both kits at once, Hope felt sick. She stared at the kits, so innocent, so naïve.

Forcing herself to speak, Hope heard herself relaying the message to the two kits;
“You must get your brothers and sister tomorrow at noon and take them to the northgate. There me and Shady will be waiting for you. We’re going to take you on a special trip into the woods, ok?”
Both kits cheered, but Hope said they must be quiet, so they cheered silently.

“Remember,” said Hope as she walked away, “At noon, sharp!”

Five little figures stood at the northgate of Reandalawo. They wore little gray cloaks and little packs with food in them, even though they had just come from lunch. Tiny wooden swords, worn but treasured they proudly displayed at their sides. The two little boys even had leather slings and a small pouch of rocks each. The girls had bows -that went no more than two feet- and arrows that were not sharp. Yet each kitten felt safer with these little play-toys at their sides.

“Well whats we got ‘ere Hope? I tot we were takin kits out, but dese are warrers!”
The kittens jumped, but only Shady and Hope came out.

“Now Shady you can talk proper, I’ve seen Dora teachin’ you so don’t frighten the little ones with your bad language!” despite the fact that she and Shady were tricking them Hope felt a certain motherly appeal to the five small kittens.

“We gonna get dis show onna road soon?” asked Jako hopefully.
“Yes, c’mon, kits.” Hope said softly.

They opened the gate and walked into the woods. They stopped only twice, once to rest and the other for the kittens to eat. Fire, who knew the stories of adventurers by heart told them to eat half of their food and save the rest for later.
“That way when we are cummin home den we has some food.” She said sensibly, and Hope marveled at the small cat’s preparedness, and wished she could tell the kits that there would not be a return journey.

Ok I'm on a serious roll today, so I'll post one more update afore my last class of school:

Fire looked in awe at the huge trees around her. They were more than twice the size of the ones in the orchard of Reandalawo.

Freedom Forest was ancient. It was there long before Reandalawo or Meandrao were built, it was there, standing high and majestic hundreds of years before talking creatures settled in it. The trees towered above all other things. Even the walls of Reandalawo were dwarfed by the gargantuan trees. It was said that in his youth Ribbony had climbed to the very top of one of the ancient trees. He said that he had seen nearly the entire world before him. The walls of Reandalawo far off below him, the river, only a little ribbon beneath him. He claimed to see Meandrao far in the distance, small and fragile. To this day Ribbony claims to have seen the great falls from that tree. The great Waterfall, as old as the trees of the forest.

Now Fire felt like no more than a tiny orange ant wandering around in a world of giants. She watched the trees, silent guardians who stood vigil over all.

“It’s not far now.” Shady whispered to Hope.
“Mhmm.”
“What not far? Asked Tansy, who was walking up by Hope holding her paw.
“A clearin.” Said Shady.
“Ok.” Tansy skipped along, smiling hugely.

‘Oh why did that horrid Claw have to pick me to come along? Oh I just can’t do it!’ thought Hope as she looked down at little Tansy.

Fire sensed something was wrong.
“Hope, you O.K.?
“Wha? Oh I guess so Fire.” Hope said absently.
‘But if I don’t help do it Claw will kill Bravey, Shaggs and Silver! Oh…’ Hope felt like she was in the middle of two rocks that were slowly moving closer together, crushing her heart.

“Jus’ out there.” Shady hissed in her ear.
Hope said nothing.

As they stepped out of the trees Creamy looked around and saw the camp and all the evil creatures.
“Dis not where we supposed tu be!” he squeaked in panic.
“Hopie, where are we?” asked little Tansy, who was peering cautiously out from behind Hope.
“I’m so sorry kits…” Hope could not say more, she chocked on her tears which threaten to spill out of her and overwhelm her like a waterfall.

and wait until their mother finds out....:p:rolleyes:

“Well, well, what have we here?” Claw walked up to the little group. The kittens stood frozen with fear at the sight of him. Fire caught sight of his huge feet, claws as long as her leg came out from them. She remembered Mozart telling part of her story.

‘There was this big cat too. He was Cogg’s top henchcreature. He was a big, sly, evil looking cat called Tigerclaw. His eyes were yellow and his fur matted. He had long sharp deadly claws…’
“Tigerclaw!” she squeaked aloud. Many of the creatures turned to look at her.

Claw thrust his ugly face close to the little kitten’s, “If you ever call me that again… You will be sorry you were ever born!” he hissed, “Is that clear?!?”
“But, Mozart said that was your name….”
“Mozart? Mozart? MOZART?!?” screamed Claw, he raised one of his large paws, claws out as if to strike her with them, but thought better of it.

“I suppose that kits are just that stupid. Ha, like that little defiant cat, boys? If you were half as tough as her we’d have a lot more prisoners.” He said dangerously.
“I don’t care what you tink I am!” yelled Fire, “TAKE ME AND MY SIBLINGS BACK TO READNALAWO… NOW!!” she screamed at the top of her lungs.

Go Fire! Although unfortunatly I doubt that will get her very far.

haha, I haven't gotten any further yet. Though I'll probably write more soon.... what d'you think of the part about Freedom Forest? I'm not exactly sure why I wrote that part... do you all (If Kitty ever comes back ) as readers think it was unessecary? Just wondering.:)

I don't think the part about Freedom Forest was really unnecessary, but it maybe could be better placed. You know what I mean? Not right in the middle of the action. I liked it, it was very well done, but it would probably be more meaningful if it was in a different spot.

I don't know! You're the author, that's your job!:p I'll think about it and let you know if I have any ideas.

I hope you relize(< somebody please tell me how to spell that stinkin' word!) that once I write something I don't change much... and after a certian amount of time I just forget about it.... I'm a very absent-minded kid.:p:rolleyes:

ok writing more:

"You know my old name but seem to know nothing else about me." hissed Claw, "Shall I change that for you?" he said coldly, Fire suddenly relized that he was not going to let her go anytime soon, and that this was real not a story.

"No tanks." she muttered, her voice carried anger and resentment in it, but also sadness. Fire forced herself not to cry and stood up strait, like she had often seen Mozart do.
"Good." growled Claw, "Chain them with the others. We leave now." Claw's motley band began gathering up their possesions (however little of them they had) and standing at the ready. Claw surveyed them with a disaproving eye, then cried, "Let us be off!"

(end chapter)

Do you mind if I punch Claw?
(It's realize. I typed it into a Word document to check. That's my trick.)

Ribbony: Actually his name is Tiggy....
Claw: IS NOT!
Ribbony: You've admitted it twice... GIVE UP YOU TORMENTER!!!!
Claw: *grumbles*
Ribbony: As you see Tiggy here is more annoyed if you call him that than if you punch him... and its funny to see his face turn red, then blue, then look like a marmalade froo....
Claw: GAHH!! PUCNH ME, JUST MAKE HIM BE QUIET!!!!
Ribbony: :p
me: Poor Tiggy.:D:p
Claw: MY NAME IS NOT TIGGY!!!!!

Chapter five
The LFF Catlition departs

“Fireheart! Fire! Fire where are you!” Mozart called.
Mozart had been looking for Fire and her siblings for more than a hour now, to no avail. She had gotten the whole LFF Catlition to help too.

“Mo! Mo! I found summat!” squeaked Smokey who came running up, with her siblings hot on her tail.

Smokey handed Mozart a small piece of paper with clumsy writing on it, Mozart’s paws started to quiver as she read it.

Dear everbodys
Disa is Tansy, I an’ my siblins are goin’ wit Hopie an’ Shades inta the woods. Dey will bring us back by suppa time, so don’t worry bout us! See you at lunchie!
Tansy

“Get the others and get the elders.” She instructed FSS, “Tell them to meet me in the council room….”
****
By now Mozart’s abrupt meetings were nearly legendary. Everyone knew about the battle meeting, where Mozart had saved them all from slaughter. Now the requested creatures gathered without question where Mozart had said to.

“My dear friends,” began Mozart, “as you know, Fire and her siblings are nowhere to be found in Reandalawo.”
Silence.
“Here I have the reason why that is.” Mozart held up Tansy’s letter and then read it aloud.

Ribbony shook his head, “It seems to me,” he said slowly, “That those two kittens, Shady and Hope, have been acting very suspicious. Hope seemed uncomfortable talking about where the two came from, whereas Shady is just a plain flat out liar…”

“What are you suggesting Ribbony?” asked Jako.
“I’m suggesting that from right under our noses we’ve harbored villains. Is it not obvious to you others that it is no mere accident that brought Shady and Hope here? They were sent for something by someone.”
“And that something was to take Fire and her siblings and kittennap them!” finished Mozart, “Or at least that must be close, but who would do such a thing? We got rid of that kind long ago…
“But I ask you this now friends. I have long wondered about it and hoped against it, but I no longer will keep my thoughts secret. It is Tigerclaw who hast done this deed, using kits to do it.”

“Preposterous! Outrageous! Crazy! That cat is dead I tell you! I saw FSS attacking him for a fact!” Dora was the only one who spoke up against her brother.
“Well we didn’t kill him Miss Dora, meanin’ no offense.” Shadow said quietly, “We wouldn’t have killed anybody at that age, y’see, I mean we were too little. But we did annoy that Tigerclaw cat alot!”

“There! Right from the source, the kits didn’t kill Tigerclaw, and I never killed him either.”
“Impos-” began Dora, but annoyed looks from the others in the room silenced her.

“Remember the rumors? Rumors of the menace that terrorized villages and took slaves or killing all who opposed him. Some joined the vagabond group by their own will, and two pieces of information are particularly interesting.”
“And how do you keep getting this information, Ribbony?” asked Jako.
Ribbony smiled, “I can produce my helper right now, if you like.”
“Then do so.” Came back the reply.
“Midnight come forth.” The young black tom stood sheepishly before the members of the council.

“Midnight! My own son! What compelled you to tell Ribbony all the things you found but not me?” Jako sounded offended.
“Well y’see, sir, when you let me into Catlition you told me to do everything Ribbony said…”
“Well yes I did…”
“And Ribbony told me to get information about this creature in the west and he tole me not to tell anybody but him what I found out. So I that’s why I didn’t tell you.”
