(Although may I point out Caspian that you weren't even in that section? You're still awsomeatic, though.:p)

Should I not be encouraging his vanity?:D

Caspian: Pshaw! I'm a tomkitten we do not have vanity! Thats for she-cats!
Dorthy: EXCUSE ME?!?
Caspian: Oopss...
Mozart: Everybody duck an' cover! Dorthy's gonna blow!
Dorthy: I AM NOT VAIN!! I HAVE NO VANITY I AM A SHE-TOM KITTEN! I THOUGHT YOU KNEW THIS CASPIAN, BUT NO! NOW FACE MY WRATH!!! *bangs Caspian on the head with her bow*
Caspian: OW!
me: ah, I suppose you shouldn't be encouraging Dorthy's vanity either.

It may've been days or weeks Ribbony stayed there with little Frodo. He took care of the kitten; kept him clean, feed him and nursed him back to help. Though he would've never admitted it to anyone and always said it was only the White Cat's doing that he had even been there, everyone said afterwards that if Ribbony had not been there Frodo would've died.

On the fourth day Ribbony was coming back from hunting (he had not thought it would be a good idea to move Frodo, so to hunt each day he went up and down the long stair) when he saw something below him at the ground level moving around. Wondering what was up Ribbony hurried down and jumped the last few feet.
His mouth turned up in a smile when he saw what had been moving. Little Frodo was limping around; very slowly mind you, but he was up.

"Hullo Frodo!" cried Ribbony dropping his kill.
Frodo couldn't jump yet but if he could've he would have. As it was the kit's hair bristled and he turned 'round as fast as he could. He looked relieved when he saw Ribbony was the only one there.
"Oh, hiya Ribbony." he said slowly and haltingly, "Have you been the one taking care of me? Its all been so blurry lately."
"Mhmm."
"So where is the LFF Catlition?"
Ribbony sighed heavily, "They thought you were dead, Frodo. You fell very far..."
"They... they left me?"
"Not purposfully, they didn't find the stair I did. Now no crying, no crying; we'll find them." Ribbony winked at the kitten.

lol, anyone who dies in this story who is a main charie.... well, ends up living.;)
Oh and the ending is so good I can't wait to post it!:D

I have trouble killing people, too. (And in my case, they are people.:D) Even bad guys sometimes. But I can do that if I set my mind to it.:p
I can't wait to see it, but at the same time I don't want it to be over too soon.

I can't wait to see it, but at the same time I don't want it to be over too soon.

Don't worry, we're only at page 60 I want to get to at least 100 pages in word. And I've been getting a ton of ideas from Narnia, Anthropos and LOTR.:D
We may get to at least page 80 afore the end begans to show its first pages.:p
And I have problems killing bad guys sometimes too... it wasn't hard to have Mozart kill Cogg, but well, you'll see what I do at the end.;)

Chapter sixteen
The Gray Cats journey

The next day Rodo could tell that Ribbony was eager to head out but willing to wait if Frodo was not well enough.

"Are we going to leave soon?" the little gray kitten asked.
"Whenever we're ready." Ribbony said "we" but Frodo knew he meant him.
"Well I'm ready if you are!" insisted the kit.
Ribbony inspected his companion; he was ragged and still limping but a gleam was in his eyes telling Ribbony that the kit was ready to leave.

"Then let us delay no longer here!" the gray tomcat meant what he said too; grabbing his pack he turned to Frodo, "You'll have to ride on me to get up the stairs, youngster." he told him.

When he had helped Frodo onto his back Ribbony began up the stair. More than once Frodo was frightened that he may fall off or Ribbony would slip and they would fall down to the bottom again.
He need not have worried though. If Ribbony had been good at climbing the stair before he was an expert now. The tomcat never faltered or slipped and Rodo never even slid sideways on the gray tom's rough gray back.

Thanks to everyone who contributed names or name-finding suggestions on my other thread; now you shall see what I came up with for your troubles.;)

“Ribbony?”
“Yes?”
“Whats the name of this place?”
“It has many names.” Replied Ribbony, “Names only the old ones know. When I was young I was taught them for then they were commonly used.”
“But where are we now?” repeated Frodo.
Ribbony was not listening though. He was thinking of a time when he was the little kit asking these same questions to his elders.

“There are many places in this world
And little ones must learn their names
So remember this rhyme,
And keep it in time,
To remeber the names;

Reandalawo big and strong,
Lives near her sister Meandra-Meandra-Meandrao!
Tall are their walls,
Impenatrable are they say some,
But that you should not believe.

Vengo; that is where you live,
It is no fortress of stone,
Rather it is a little village of wood.

The desert is long and rough,
Its sands flow ceaselessly
It waits a hundred years and more,
For victims to devour!
There you should not go!

The river Mereka,
Is fast and swift,
It carries away troublesome kits,
Who venture into it.
Its ancient neighbor,
Is a forest,
Old and never failing,
It is called Wemra,
Or so the oldest say.

Wild lands do run between,
Mereka and Vengo,
Careless of their travelers,
Young kits they have no name.

But the name that is the name of all the land,
Is a proud good name,
Kreemka! Kreemka!
That is what our world is called.
Kreemka! Kreemka!
Though when you are old and worn,
The world’s name may be forgotten,
So some foresee,
But you shall always know the name,
Kreemka. Kreemka.

Those are the names that you must learn,
Never forget them,
So when you are old and withered like me,
You shall teach the young ones these names!

“In school they taught me that, Frodo. These lands have no names; but the name of the whole land; from Reandalawo to Vengo, and beyond) is called Kreemka.
