The Golden Mallorn Leaves

Amera's ears caught wind of the wargs and whispered Elvish into Starbeam's ears. But still the wargs were on her tail. She gracefully drew her long sword from her back and swung it over her head. But yet she still pressed on.

Rodwen sat motionless while the food cooked. After she had returned to the gulley and dismounted, Rodwen has scraped clean the large buck and set huge chunks of meat into a boiling pot.(Yum!) Suddenly she heard a shrill shriek( ). She turned suddenly to watch a horde of orcs run down into the gulley. Quickly she drew her bow and shot several down. She ran into them and slashed her curved sword around. Striking down a few each time. In the end she found a mass of dead orcs, lying in a heap around her. She sighed and went back to the fire. She wiped clean the black blood that seemed to consume the sword. Then returned to her pot(:p )

Sean trotted through the forest in search of his quarry. Alas, it seemed Smeagol had eluded him so he turned Southward. He emerged from the forest as a host of Saruman's uruk-hai ran by. He spurned his steed onwards and pulled out his lance. "YAAAAAAGGHHHH!!" He shouted as he drove towards them. "EEEEEEEEKKKK!!" The uruk-hai screamed when they saw him barreling down on them and ran full-steam. "SARU-MAAAAANNNN!!"...

Meanwhile the wargs caught up w/ Amera and the orc riders slashed at her with gnarly orc swords...:D

Amera slowly rose until she was standing with perfect balence on her horse. One of the warg riders was on either side of her, so she front snap kicked the one to her left and side kicked the one to her right, hoping as they fell off they would be crushed the the wargs behind them. Her wish came true, but the cruel orcs snickered still. She swung her sword to either side of her and partly decapetated one warg and stabbed the other through the heart. Still standing she drew her bow off her back and strug a arrow. She let it fly to the nearest warg, killing it, or just wounding it badly, she couldn't tell, but she knew that the impact of the orc's body to the ground was fatal. She let a few more arrows fly killing two more wargs and two more orcs the saw way. She had thought that was the last of the wargs so she slowly lowered herself back onto the horse's bare back. Then a loud cry echoed through the air, so she pushed Starbeam as fast as she could go.

Alas, High up in the tower of Orthanc Saruman saw the whole thing in his Palantir. "Foolish elf. You cannot escape the hand of Saruman." More Warg patrols would be closing in on her in short order...

Meanwhile Sean ran straight through the rear of the uruk host!! "BUWAAAAGHH! AAAGH! GAAAAKK!" They yelped as they were squished n' skewered. He thought he even saw some crying...:D "YOUR END IS NEAR!!" He shouted in Quenya, and mowed more down...

Amera's ears heard the laughing and snickering of the wargs and their riders long before they appeared. When they did, she used the same method she did on the first group, but in the end her arrows were out numbered. She grabbed the last one and put a spell of speed on it. The arrow flew through one warg and into the one behind it killing two out of the three remaining. Now out of eight wargs and thier riders, only one remained. It slowly closed in behind her nipping at the ankles of Starbeam, barely missing. This gave Starbeam more strength and she pushed herself harder. It was almost as if she were floating threw the air than running. Amera couldn't believe how fast they were going. All she could do was hold on for everything and hope she wasn't thrown off.

And she was cut off by a gaggle of wargs coming straight at her!! They pounced on her before she could turn!!

Sean chased the uruk-hai clear to the Gap of Rohan, where the King's son Theodred lay besieged on both sides by Saruman's uruks. "HOLD FAST!" He shouted, and ran through the ugly lines. He stood infront of Theodred and felled many foes:D

Amera was caught in the grasps of the warg riders. She screamed in pain, but astonishly they didn't kill her. They bound her hands and force her to walk, keeping one of their bloodstained swords at her back.

Sean dismounted and pulled out a gnarly battleaxe!! He swung in an arch and felled a ring of foes. "YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME!" He shouted. Wrath was kindled in him against the forces of Darkness.

It was dark. Amera was lain on the ground, her feet also tied now. Starbeam was tied to a tree near by. Amera wished she had the strength to burn her bonds, but she was wearing from travel, today and from the night before. She laid as behind her she heard the mutants agruing about something petty, like what Saruman would do to them if they lost her. And loosing her was the least of their problems at the moment. Because Amera knew that in the morning when all her strength was gathered she would escape her bonds and kill those who tormented her.

The rose as Amera awoke. She quietly peered around to see if all te uruks were sleeping. They were, save one who was standing watch. Amera gracefully weeved a spell to strangle the guard, but she did it very discreatly so as to not wake the others, but also saving most of her energy for the attack. The spell worked and within mere seconds the uruk fell to the ground dead. Amera quietly spoke "nar" as her bonds began to burn and fell to the ground. She did the same to her feet. When that was finished. She quietly snuck over to Starbeam and untied her. She mounted her and drew her sword from her back. She rode through the uruks and stab three of them in their sleep, but the other five was now away, chasing after her, swords ready. She killed three more. Killing the fourth was more tricky. This one was actually smart and quick. He slashed her in the arm, right under the shoulder, but Amera ignored it. She quickly sliced her sword though the air and severed his neck. The last one, seeing her ability ran, but too slowly for Amera, on horse back, as much quicker. A few meters away she stabed him threw the gut and kicked him backwards. As soon as they were all dead. She pushed Starbeam on to Gondor, praying that there were no more Uruk-hais preying around.

Many uruk-hai lay in a heap around Sean. Sweat dripped down his face and neck. They seemed an endless tide. "It's hopeless..." A Rohirrim said in dismay.
"DON'T GIVE UP!" Sean shouted as he clocked an Uruk-hai with his sword pommel.:D

Near by, Amera heard many swords clashing. She knew someone was in danger, her elven sences were beaming. She directed Starbeam in it's direction. There she saw a ton of Uruk-hai and a few men, not to mention the knight who roused the Huorns. "Seems you have a nack for danger," she said grining, motioning to the knight. She drew her sword and rode into the fight, killing uruks left and right.

"Riiiiiiiiiiight..." she said nodding, exagerating. She killed a few more and started getting board. She yawned. There were now only five uruks left and they slew them pretty quickly. Amera jumped down off her horse and surveyed the dead uruks. "What is Saruman up to?" Then she saw Theodred, laying on the ground bleeding. She rushed over and tried using magic on the biggest wounds, but only made a small impact. She bandaged them with cloth from one of the blankets in her bag. She noticed a small stream running just a few feet away, "Hey, could you go get some water, please?" she asked motioning to Sean. "I should probably wash out his wounds."

Amera laughed, "Probably. The way you swing your sword around. You don't block yourself at all... you should be glad you still have your head." Theodred moaned. She hushed him as he fell deeper into unconciousness. "I don't think I'll be able to heal him compleatly. We'll have to get him to Edoras as soon as possible."
