Take a break, get a life, etc, etc....

LOL! No seriously. Everyone needs a break from something sometimes. I know I do. Have no one noticed that I come on every couple of days or more? Cause I need a break from TDL sometimes. Other times I just get wrapped up in other things and by the time I can come on to TDL, it's too late.

Ms. D. You shouldn't feel like you HAVE to be here all the time. And you don't have to comment on everything either. Please feel free to take some time off. Many members do and it's perfectly normal. We will always be here to welcome you back, just as we've done with many others before.

Like right now, I want to be on TDL but I also want to go to Walmart to blow about $45 that are making my right thigh (by my right pocket, where my wallet goes) itch, lol. No. Actually, I need new headphones because these ones are kaput. So, TDL or Walmart?

See? that's just a simple thing but what if it's TDL or homework? TDL or family time? TDL or writing my overdue reports?

Anyway, just take a break. When you come back, you'll feel so refreshed that you'll start rambling on your very first post without noticing it... Oh. Never mind. I'm done.
 
xD You're funny. I love how you can express serious ideas in such hilarious ways.

While limiting internet usage is part of my concern, I've also been having a problem with a certain member. I'm just not convinced that leaving the forum for an extended period of time would really be worth it, since the good here definitely outweighs the bad. I'll probably end up taking a break for a week or two to focus on other things, but will not take as long of a break as I was originally intending, because it just wouldn't be worth it.

And then you get a server busy screen and you're forced to take a break anyway!! lol, lol.

Oh, I've had disagreements and misunderstandings with several members here before but I have never thought of leaving the forum for that. I don't think it's worth leaving all the good stuff just for some minor inconveniences like one member disagreeing with me. I've had my share of nasty pms along the way. Most of the time I just delete them and move on without comments.

I do hope, however, that it's only that: Disagreements and misunderstandings and nothing else. But if you're being harassed or threatened or intimidated in any way, that's something else and the mods should be involved. Just saying.

It's neither, actually, but I don't feel comfortable explaining. :p Still, don't worry, it's nothing dangerous. It's quite trivial, actually, and probably bothers me more than it should, but there's no need to get authorities involved. Thanks for your concern, though. :)

Good to know, but just in case, Constable Badger is always at the ready to assist ladies in distress. He kinda looks like he just ate your candy and is making an innocent face if you ask me, but his mum thinks its his "cute as a button" face!

I'm probably kinda back...things have occurred in real life to force me to get off Facebook, so...I dunno what I'll do without Facebook to log into. So I'll probably be around here more, just not sure of how much I'll be posting [pretty sporadically I imagine]. Anyways.

And MissReep, TDL will definitely be more dull if you decide to not come back. ;)

Having never officially declared an absence but being forced to accept I did indeed vanish (For over a year) I have now returned (for now.) Is anyone I know even still active?

Yep, I'm still... semi-active. :rolleyes: Did you ever meet Glen? She's about the only duffer left at the point, though she tells me Sopespian has been active enough in that chaotic land.

I think she joined after you left anyway... most people from then aren't too active anymore, though there are some amazing new people. And GG is still around, of course. I'm pretty sure she'll always be around, forever and ever, even if we run out of food.
