The Gone, Away, and Returned Thread II

I HATH RETURNED!

Because my hoot owl fandom has gone crazy and started hurting each other so I started hiding out here until it cools down.
I miss the safety and peace of narnia :)

I'm back! :D I was gone this week because of driver's ed, which I passed with a grade average above 80%. It went well, but I am glad to have more free time now.

Yay for you!:D

I will be away for Mother's Day weekend. My family is up to something but I don't know what yet... Then my husband will be leading a tour to Turkey (following the footsteps of the Apostle Paul as well as seeing Hittite sites, Troy and Istanbul) so I will be far far away May 23 - June 6.

Have a wonderful time!:)

It's good to see you around again!

Sorry to double post, but I wanted to let you all know that I will be gone for about a week. I might get a chance to check in once or twice, but I'm not sure.

So....I haven't been around in absolute ages, and for that I am sorry. :( I did miss the lovely people and convos around TDL. I can't believe so much time has passed! I checked on some of my old TDL friends, but they apparently haven't been on in a long time, either. :/ I'd like to hang around here some more, have some nice convos again, but we'll see! Summer has arrived, though, so I just might. In any case, *curtsies*, hello to one and all! :)

I'm back, my family whisked me away to see a powerfully moving production of the Merchant of Venice (as the bard originally wrote it) and I had a lovely time with family... P.S. I just posted the results of the poetry contest.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!:)

Hi I'm leaving for Turkey on Wednesday and will be crazy busy for the next few days getting ready before then. See you back in June when I get back -- assuming Internet access will be hit and miss over there as we visit various biblical sites and other points of interest there (we get to also see Troy, but no, we will not be visiting Noah's ark).

I have been offline for 10 days or so and will be back after the long weekend -- so next Tuesday, maybe? I miss you and love you. Play nice til I get back.

*pokes head into thread*

Hi, guys.

Good to see you!:D

I have been offline for 10 days or so and will be back after the long weekend -- so next Tuesday, maybe? I miss you and love you. Play nice til I get back.

I hope you're having a good time.:)

My family and I returned from Turkey yesterday after 3000 miles of cross-country trekking lots of ruins and beautiful sites there. The winged unicorn in my avvy is a statue near the ferry across the Dardanelles to get to the European side of that country. I think it looks very Narnian. Also I enjoyed so many Aslan sightings in that country; since Aslan is the Turkish word for lion, I saw photography studios and sports teams as well as a gift shop named after our favorite lion.
