The MLG

As they get to know each other, it is discovered that the family came from England and one thing leads to another, making everyone realize the truth of MLG's parentage.

I haven't figured out why she would jump off the ship yet. Give me time. :D

MrBob

I know why:p

After finding out that their daughter belongs to the king of Narnia, MLG's parents decide Caspian could give her the kind of life their little girl deserves. They talk this over with Caspian who just isn't sure what to do. Caspian Then confided in Reepicheep. He said he just wasn't ready to be a father and definitely not a SINGLE father. He was greatly troubled and needed to talk. He didn't mean for anyone-especially not MLG to overhear him. Unfortunately MLG did hear him. She decided to jump ship since she she wasn't wanted and before anyone could save her she was eaten by the sea serpent. Caspian, Lucy and Edmund were terribly heart broken over this and word got back to Susan once the Pevensie kids got home. Of course Susan blamed Caspian for their daughters death and wanted revenge. She turned to witchcraft and used it to get back into Narnia where she was known as the Green Witch and she proceeded to wreak havoc on Caspian and his family. It's a very sad story.

I frankly find an additional girl aboard the Dawn Treader unessary. I really don't understand the need to create new characters, when their is rostrum of beloved ones already available in the book.

Oreus was not a bad addition or any of the Gryffons in LWW. The key is to find a perfect place for side characters that neither distract from the story nor the main characters.

You have valid point, I did enjoy both Oreus and the Gryffrons. I'm merely worried this additional girl will distract from Lucy and make her presence of the ship less unique. :(

Well, we know Gael isn't anywhere near the Magician's book. As I have mentioned, it isn't who or what is added but how it affects the overall story.

BK, there are no children on teh ship other than Gael. Georgie is 14 and not what i would define as a child. She is a young teenager.
