The MLG

I think we read in a cast interview that she is Rhince's daughter, the first mate on the ship.

I thought that changing producers will help the Narnia Franchise but as far as I see it has been a bad thing... ugh!!!

Why is it so bad?
And the videos were posted on the site some time ago.

for me she has some big deal in the movie, if it's not that way why would they put her on it... this doesn't seem good

My mom said it might just be because the kids are so much older that they want a little kid to be in it to keep the "cute factor" as she put it. And that may be all it is she may never be of any signifigance in the movie other than to perhaphs accompany Lucy; like when Lucy is watching the mer-people she and the MLG could be talking and they see them. I don't really think it'll be a problem.

If she was a larger player, the comapny would have announced her name. I don't see that she is anything but an extra who will just be part of a subplot.

I have to agree with Ms. Yanes that having another girl besides Lucy in the Dawn Treader is just not right!:(

Am I wrong or there used to be an old queen (or king?) called Gale, in the Chronicles of Narnia (not part of any story in the books)? I think it was mentioned, anyways.
Um, at first I thought it was Ramandu's daughter, but then I saw it was a little girl. I hope they don't change the books too much, since now the director is another guy.

In other words... that girl is VEEEERY lucky u.u
And that's right, another little girl besides Lucy sounds annoying. Well, if we talk about Georgie now, Georgie's a teenager, not a little girl anymore, so it'll be quite different in the film. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess *shrugs*
 
That little girl is very cute, whoever and whatever she is supposed to be. I am guessing they wanted a little cutie pie to replace Georgie in the cute little girl category. I don't see that it hurts anything except that when the Duffers want a little girl to read their spell, it seems dumb that Georgie would do it and not this MLGael. And yet, I don't want her taking any of Lucy's important roles!

Also, yah, Ginny, I remember a King Gale in the CON somewhere, but I can't remember who he is. Maybe an king of Archenland? But this Gael is someone entirely made up for the movie.
 
MLG is definitely going to steal scenes from Lucy, count on it. This movie will look nothing like the story in the book.
 
it will be auwful if she does Lucy's part that will be terrible and pretty onfending if u ask me, offending for Lucy character, Georgie and the readers without mentioning Lewis as himself
 
King Gale was the king who saved the Lone Islands from the dragon and took them under the crown of Narnia.

I am thinking positively tha MLG will not take anything away from the major plot points of Lucy's. After all, the people who were onshore at Duffer Isand were all threatened to be killed had Lucy not read from the book. This was a life or death situation that a six-year-old could not have given conent to do.

I'm trying to stay positive for some things in the movie.

I see they`ve finally released the name of the girl who`s playing Gael.

Her name appears to be Arabella Morton but there has still been no comment as to who the charater actually is.

I agree. There's no harm in bring in another extra. But as long as she doesn't take any of Lucy's parts all should be ok. But who knows until we find out what her part for sure in the movie is it might be for the better. :D
