my theory about the MLG:
maybe she was a stow-away from the Lone Islands. She could've been a slave then, being set free, she decided she liked the Narnians so much she'd come with them, so she stowed away on the ship. Then they must have found her eventually..... and maybe she fell off the ship.

Sarah, it was an insane theory, I did preface my posting with the words, "My insane theory"
I was just having fun.
I also see that inky and Lava may also be on the right track. MLG (Gael?) may be a girl who has been either subjected to or has a mother who has been a victim of the slave trade.
Myabe they will be left on the Lone Islands after they liberate the slaves and establish Bern as Duke to replace Gov. Gumpus. I can't see them keeping MLG onboard.

it isn't getting ridiculous, it's getting creative. besides, we don't know what's going to happen with this, and we don't know what's going on. we shouldn't judge now, it's too early to suspect anything.

We are allowed to speculate and fear the changes regardless of whether is too early or not. If you want to wait, go ahead. It was like this during the filming of PC, and we didn't even see any filming, but the rumors came true. Who's to say this is not the case here?it isn't getting ridiculous, it's getting creative.

no one. no one's saying anything, but I think you're being a bit too up-tight about it all. i mean... we have over a year to go and you're already bent on boycotting everything to do with the project. you do have a right to your opinion, but i have a right to mine too. and my opinion is: you're touchy.

We are here talking about opinions about the movie, not about the persons posting. I suppose since you're new we'll let it pass for now.
So EVERYONE has a right to his/her opinion about the movie. I say the inclusion of the MLG is a most ridiculous thing, regardless of whether it's too early or not.

yes, i'm new, but it does say this is about the "MLG" and here we are talking about the whole movie! i'm guilty as charged. but yeah... since I haven't read the books I'm not entirely savvy on the situation of the plot, but as I've said: I do like spoilers! i guess that's why i didn't get the reason behind you hating the mlg idea, because I have no clue if she is or isn't in the books...
Ok. My suggestion is to read at least VODT so that you'll have a better idea about the arguments going on in these threads. I hope you can read them sometime soon. You are in for a treat.lol, i read your other posts here; you're pretty active in this!

The MLG could be anything of course. She could be one of the slaves, and why not? That's not a big deal. The big deal is that she is part of the plot (it looks like it in the scenes) ON BOARD of the Dawn Treader, and that is not right in my opinion. If you think it's alright then that's yours but I say that there's not need to add children on the Dawn Treader. They will take a way the focus on Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace, and that's wrong.
That is an idea. That little girl could be anything. Still she shouldn't be there on the DT.
I don't believe she will be anything like the LotGK. If they actually take her with them on the voyage, i don't suppose she'll be evil at all. I'm not too worried yet, i like the book the way it is. But i also didn't mind the minor changes in LWW, so if they are going to add her as a minor change, just like the waterfall scene in LWW, you won't hear me complaining. When it gets to the level of PC, then you'll hear me And if they keep the ending intact, then i'd be more than happy, maybe not for myself (since i would like them to keep as much intact as they can), but for everyone who finds out who Aslan really is.
