he was mean to amy blast it the joker is creepy but i almost feel sorry for him after losing both his mom and dad. No wonder he became a psycho madman.

*The bell rings*
Amy and Ben headed into the hallway together. There they were met by Jack.
Jack: Hey Amy.. hey Ben.
Ben: Hey Jack.
Amy: Hello Jack.
Jack: Listen.. I was starting to invite people to party I'm hosting at my Church. I was wondering if you would like to come.
Ben: I.. I don't know.
Jack: There will be food and drinks and music.
Amy: Did you say food?
Jack: Yeah.
Amy: What kind of food?
Jack: Pizza.
Amy looked at Ben.
Ben: I guess.. we can come.
Jack: Great! It's at 7:00 o'clock.
Ben looked at Amy.
Amy: What?
Ben: Nothing.. just..
Amy: Just what?
Ben: Nevermind.
Jack continued to invite more people from school to the party, he approached everyone except the Joker, who at time was missing.
At 7:00 dozens of cars showed up at Trinity Church. Some of the teens who were invited had never been to church and were rather nervious. Jack stood at the front door were he greeted people and ushered them in. The sanctuary had been transformed. Were pews had been there was large space of hardwood and at end were cross hung was table with assortments of food and drink.
To the lef hand side a DJ was setting up and above the church lighting had been adjusted to make it feel like a club. People entered by masses and were impressed by what they saw. Jeff walked up steps and greeted Jack.
Me: So this is how you get people to go to chuch?
Jack: Well.. you've got to start somewhere.
Jeff gave smiled and headed inside.
Amy and Ben made there way into sanctuary. Amy without hesistation headed for buffette. The music started and people started to dance. It seemed Jack's party was actaully a hit, people wer laughing, talking, dancing and enjoy the pleasent food.
Suddenly the door were flung open and uninvited quest plauged in. Many of people stopped talking and dancing to take notice of this party crashier. His clothes though an odd arrangement of purples and greens were not the what people noticed. It was his powed pale face and the bright red smile on his face. He walked in kinda like somone who couldn't keep there balence.
Joker: What's matter with all of you? This is a party isn't it? Come on get your groove on.
The Joker began to dance around and make strange sounds with his mouth. Jack approached him.
Joker: Well hello.. you must be the host..
The Joker grabbed his hand and shook it.
Jack: Um.. who are you?
Joker: Me? You don't recognize me?
Jack: No I don't..
Joker: Well.. I really never introduced myself properly. You all can call me The Joker.
Jack: Welcome.. but I don't recall inviting you.
Joker: That's because you didn't..
Jack: I see.
When Amy caught sight of the Joker she started to tremble and hide behiend Ben.
Jeff came up alongside Jack and whispered something into her ear.
Jack: Oh.. well then enjoy yourself.
The music started again and people started to go back to what they had been doing.
The Joker slunk over to the table with food.
Joker: Ew.. pizza.
He grabbed slice and began to chew on it when he saw Amy and Ben.
Joker: Oh.. hello.. yum.. you know.. I want to apologize if I frightened you today..
Ben: That's ok..
Amy began to pull on Ben's arm.
Joker saw Amy's gesture.
Joker: You know what.. I didn't know you had to bring a date to this thing.. would you mind if I stole Amy?
Ben: Exuse me?
Joker: May I barrow here for this dance?
Ben: Oh.. uh.. I guess.
Joker: Wonderful.
The Joker slunk over and offered his hand to Amy. She shaking took it and was led to the dancing floor. The Joker then led Amy in dance.
Joker: You know your.. a beautiful girl.. Ben is very lucky.
Amy: Thank.. you.
Joker: I know my apperance may frighten you.. It's the scars right? Do you wanna know how I got em? You see my father was a drunk and fiend. Each night he would come home wasted and beat me and my mother. But one night he went off crazier than usual. My mother took a knife to defend herself, and he didn't like that. He took a knife and went after her, then he stopped and came at me with knife. He then began to asking me "Why So Serious?" "Why So Serious?!" Finally he said "Lutes put a smile on that face!"
Amy began to panick she lute go of him and started hyperventalate. ben ran to her.
Ben: Amy! Amy!
Joker: Is she ok?
Ben: Get away from her!
Jack came over to the Joker and began to nudge him away.
Joker: Don't touch me!
The Joker revealed a knife.
Joker: Don't ever touch me!
Jack: I think you should leave.
The Joker looked at masses, they stared at him relentlessly. He then ran from the church.

I'd hate to do this to ya Jeff but I'm gonna have to stop reading your story...I love it and it's the best I've read in awhile but I just realized the two days I've been reading it have been the two days I couldn't sleep at night because of nightmares and the only movie I've watched has been..Wall-E.

Oh I'm sorry, never intended that. I understand the Joker is a very disturbing character. I actually am planning to eliminate him from story after the climax, which in within a few posts. But I respect your convictions. I've tried not to involve him so much in the story, but he's kinda plugged in now. Anyways thank you for reading it up to this point.
For record I don't usually try to write in a character like him, but this was fan fict so I thought it would be intriguing.

A Horrible Thing:
After the Joker had exited the church, Ben leaned over Amy.
Ben: Amy.. Amy are you ok?
Amy: I feel sick.
Ben: Is there bathroom around here?
Jack: Yeah in the back. Here I'll show you.
Ben: Alright Amy.. Jack is going to lead you the bathroom.
Amy: Where are you going?
Ben: I have to settle something first.
Ben rushed out of sanctaury. Outside he found the Joker who had been stopped by Jeff.
Ben: Hey you!
The Joker looked up at Ben.
Ben: I have something to say to you.
Ben rushed down the steps.
Jeff stood between them.
Ben: Since you first introduced yourself I've kept quite.. I put up with your strange apperance and even your dangerious display in cafeteria.. but you have gone too far! You've hurt Amy.. my Amy! And that I cannot take!
Ben rushed the Joker. Jeff jumped in way to try and stop the fight. But when he did he felt his body go numb and it seemed as if time stopped. He turned and looked a Joker and then looked down towards his belly. There he saw Joker's hand and handle of the knife. The Joker stepped back, his face in utter shock. Jeff collapsed to the ground. Ben saw the Joker standing there with a bloody knife.
Ben: What have you done?!
The Joker freaked and took off screaming. Ben quickly attended to Jeff, he began to shout to some of students who were coming out the church.
Ben: Call 911!
Ben at there holding Jeff in his arms. He barely knew him, but it didn't matter.
After the Joker had exited the church, Ben leaned over Amy.
Ben: Amy.. Amy are you ok?
Amy: I feel sick.
Ben: Is there bathroom around here?

The Ambulance arrived at the church and Jeff was put on a stretch and hauled into the back. The cirans sounded as it took off for hospital. Ben held Amy in his arms, she had recovered. Ben watched as Ambulance went around the corner. At the hospital Jeff was taken into the Emergancy room, where is vitals were checked and wound was examined. Doctor Sternen looked at the wound, his face expression grim.
Nurse: Doctor.. his vitals are really low.
Doctor: Yes.. I know.. he's suffered an insition in the kidney.
Nurse: Shall I prepare him for operation.
Doctor: Yes.. and I want ten ccs of..
Suddenly the life sings on the display dropped to zero.
Nurse: Doctor he is going into cardic arrest!
Doctor: Prep the defibulator stat!
The Nurse grabbed the defibulator and preped it for charge. It was currently at 1%.
Nurse: Were losing him!
Second Nurse: defibulator at 30%
The Doctor began to do CPR on the patient. He pressed on his chest and had the First Nurse use a tube to increase air flow.
Doctor: Come on!
Nurse: Difibulator at 89%.
The Doctor stopped CPR and looked at display. IT remained unchanged.
Nurse: Doctor difbulator at 96%
Doctor: forget it.. he's gone. Time of death.. 9:45pm.

After the Doctor had exited the room, Nurse began shutting down the machines and removing the tubes from the man's body. It was sad thing, for such young man to die. The Nurses have gotten use to death, being hospital it is a common reality, but it was never easy to see one so young go before his time. As they began removing cords they noticed a golden cross around his neck.
Nurse: Margaretee could you go get the Chaplin?
Margarette: Of course.
After a few moments the Chapline entered and began to do his bendiction and prayer. He placed annointing oil on the young man's head and he opened his Bible and read passage.
Chaplin: We give this young man.. to your safe keeping o Lord, amen.
The Chaplin closed his Bible and took one last look at young man. The Nurses had began to prep the body to be moved to morg. Both nurses left for moment. In that moment something miraculious happened. The monitor that still had zero life signs displayed, suddenly began to make noise. There was beep fallowed by a louder beep. The Nurse returned into room and what she saw made her nearly collapse. She saw the the patient's eyes were open and he was trying to sit up.
The Nurse hit emergancy red button and began to place hand over he mouth to stop from screaming. Several Nurses rushed in.
Nurse: Page Doctor Sternen immediatly!
When Doctor Stien returned to room where he had pronounced the patient dead, to find him alive. He was stunned.
He had the young man taken to OR, there they cleaned the wound and sealed it. Doctor Sternen just looked at patient in astonishment. He had been dead a full hour, patients never in history had come back to life after such a long time. There was no other word for it but Mircale.

2 Months Later
Much hadn't changed at Grant High. There had been several investigations and questioning of the students regarding the Joker. Aside from that everything was as it had been. The news of Jeff's recovery had spread throughout the school and everyone was waiting in anticpation for his return. Several of the students including Amy, Ben, and Jack had prepared a welcome back party. There was cake in cafeteria and balloons.
A black car pulled up to the front of the school. Exiting from it was a tall fellow with short trimmed hair. His garments were comprised of black and blue. Upon his neck shined a golden cross. When Jeff saw the school, he smiled. It was nice to be back again, to be able to continue his studies and hopefully help some people at the same time. Jeff had reflected on during his recovery the failure of the Joker, the inability to help him.
However he wasn't going to lute one failure stop him from doing what he did best. He was going to move on.
Jeff made his way into the halls of school were he found Ben and Amy. They saw him and quickly headed for the cafeteria. The hallway was practically empty and the bell hadn’t rung. Jeff made his way to cafeteria. There he was greeted by friends and acquaintances. Jack approached Jeff frist, he had visited him several times at hospital and was reliefed to see him back.
Next Amy and Ben approached Jeff.
Ben: You don't know how greatful I am for what you did.
Me: What I did?
Ben: Yeah.. you know.. for saving my life.
Me: Oh that... truthfully all I was doing was trying to stop a fight.. Ben.. I didn't know he was going to pull a knife on me.
What Jeff said wasn't the full truth, during that moment when the adrenaline was pumping in his viens he had caught in corner of his eye the blade of the knife. He had put himself between Ben and the Joker on purpose, so that Ben wouldn't be hurt. However he kept this a secret, he did not desire gratification or being labled a hero, he just did what he thought was best.
Ben: Well regardless.. I owe you my life.
Amy came close to Jeff and kissed him on the cheek.
Amy: I thank you Jeff.. for what you did.. for saving my Ben.. even if as you say you didn't know the danger.
Me: Well.. I'm flattered.. I am just glad you are safe and that hopefully things can get back to normal around here.
Everyone had slice of cake and a scoop of ice cream. When they were done they all headed to their classes. When Jeff walked through the halls he smiled, it was great to be back again.
