TRA is one of the best tomb raiders out there.
I think they overdid that hurting and screaming a bit. But once she stops that, it looks like like a great game.I loved how the trailer looked, especially the cinematic one, and the gameplay looks truly epic! The only thing that I'm worying about is how long they're going to have her staggering about because of her hurt side. That could get tiresome rather fast.
Oh, and I wish that Keeley Hawes was still being Lara's voice instead of some random.
I was so excited about this game before, and I still am, but I haven't bought it yet. I still plan to buy it but I'm not sure which one to get. For PS3 or Xbox360.This was the game that caused me to give up on the franchise.
I own a copy, but I've never used it.
I haven't even installed it.
Over the past few releases, they've been rewriting the backstory of Tomb Raider to the point where it isn't Tomb Raider anymore.
The last one I played, I was getting quite annoyed with the way Natla was misrepresented.
I preferred her as the evil genius, not the malevolent goddess.
So when I heard about the prequel story, I was expecting Lara's airplane crash in the himalayas.
Then I heard them talking about shipwrecks, other survivors and bandit thugs.
And the first thing that popped into my head was:
"Wait, what the heck does this have to do with Lara's origin story?"
When I got a clearer picture of the story later on, I realized, the Tomb Raider I know and love is gone now, in favor of this cheap imitation version.
That's when I decided not to play it anymore.
I can assure you, I'm not purchasing the next games in the series.
