Well we've only seen like a few shots of him, and of course the movie wont live up everyones images that thay imagined while they read the books, but what can you do. I still think he is perfect he fit my image i pictures Murtagh as, as i read the books.
 
Yeeah it will probably be a surprise,i know i was surprised that Murty was the dragon rider in Eldest. Hopefully it will be someone who nobody expects, then it will be more of a surprise and be even better. Some say it might be Orik...

I would never want Roran to be a dragon rider *Christopher Paolini please dont put him as dragon rider*:D. I just dont think Roran is or seems like someone who could be a dragon rider, he has to find Katrina, but you never know.

Well, in the end there's a battle and there are some mildly gory bits throughout the book, so I'm guessing yes? Well, it shouldn't be too bad, it's meant to be aimed at kids/teenagers.
 
It depend on what people see as "gory" some people could say a little blood is gory, others alot, it all depends on someones own definition of something thats is gory, and knowing that its an epic fantasy battle there would be blood, even the book describes some things that are bloody.

Yup^^ *agrees* I love the Eragon poster in your siggy. I saw one saying 'Coming Soon' at the cinema and I was practically jumping up and down :rolleyes:
 
I was on the inheritence fan site and they changed the trailer date, also they have pictures of the movie merchandise like movie-tie in editions, and games ect. Also showed some pics of Saphira. I was going to not look for spoiler reasons but it doesnt show her whole body. But from what i saw she looks pretty awesome, fox/weta/ another organization which i forget the name did a great job on the saphire dragon:):)

Im getting quite excited for the film, im planning on going the first night it comes out...Fox keeps holding back on the trailer release, but they have there reasons.

Lets start a new discussion in this thread..like maybe who everyones fave character(s) is/are[unless we've done that one already]

Or theories for the third and final volume of inheritence.

Okay, don't laugh but I'm begininning to agree- the guy who plays Murtagh DOES look kinda hot...

EDIT: I guess I HAVE to edit this since it would be triple posting if I made another post.

My favourite characters are Eragon, Saphira, Arya and Murtagh.
Reasons?

Eragon: At first he's just a farm boy, but then realises he's much more special than that, and he has strenghts AND flaws, which I like in characters. It shows we're not perfect.

Saphira: She acts just like a fussy mother to Eragon sometimes and for some reason I love it when she calls him 'Little one'

Arya: She's an awesome fighter and is quite serious. She's also left-handed if you've noticed, and so am I!

Murtagh: Do I NEED a reason? The character of Murtagh just rocks, full stop.

I 100% agree with you on Saphira, and then sometimes she can be so like childish and playful with Gladre.
Murtagh and Eragon are my faves, i love all the dragons as well... for many reasons also.
Murtagh- Loyalty, strength, knows how to travel and track, a good swordmans, a hot man, strong..tall...handsome....whoa anywho...his character is just so great, i love everything about him:)
Eragon- He's like cool, good fighter...can be weak at times
Arya is a pretty cool elf too, has very good swordsmanship aswell..i mean she's an elf? what elf wouldnt:)
I guess i could say i like all the characters in Inheritence for different reasons.
Oh and i got the murtagh thing from Photobucket, who do you want one of?I didnt actually make it.You can search around, i unfortunately dont know how to make them i ask the maker if i may use them firstly or not...so yeah search around and see what you find.
Thorn- even though we know little about him,i still think he is awesome. Gladre he is the coolest golden dargon eva!So wise and strong and very mature.. Saphira everything about the saphire dragon, and she can be oh so very funny at times aswell.

Princey you can use my murtagh thing too if you want.
