Yes Eldest is quite good. I still like Eragon best out of the two so far..dont know why just do. For those of you who may not have seen this pic of a close up of saphiras head here it is. I plan on reading Eragon again for like the 4th time before the movie comes out-just to refresh my memory on how the book is like and how the movie was different ect.[not that i really care:p]
Im glad you people are reading it before you see the film. It bothers me when people see the film first and then say thet will read the book but dont bother b/c they think its hard after seeing the movie.

    1. How would you feel in finding the egg, same as Eragon? Or different.

    2.[possible spoiler-sorry!! : (]= When Eragon and Murtagh get into a physical fight and when Murtagh says all that stuiff about how Eragon seems to expect everyone to look after him do you agree with what Murtagh says? {if im confusing people ask me to refrase my question, lol im not always good at explaning things}

[for those who have already read Eldest]-Something that really bothers me is when Eragon is disappointed about the new things he has learned about his family ect. And now he calls Roran his brothter even though they are cousins. I just think he should accept it and cut the crap *pardon my language*:p:p lol.
I wish they'd give us some new pics of some characters or something from the film.

Oh, I didn't get to the middle. Maybe I will try it again. All that wandering and trying to keep the dragon secret ... it just seemed to grind along ... I thought the movie might be good.

when i first read it i found it to be boring/dragged on..but i picked it up 2 years later and really loved it. i dunno perhaps second times a charm?
 
I love Eragon- i found Eldest very boring and dragging on so many times. I still like is but it just was very boring { in my opinion:o}

I hope the third and final volume is as awesome as Eragon was.
 
I liked Eragon. I tried two times to read Eldest, and it just doesn't draw me in enough, but I will try again some other time. I think Paolini's writing style changed for the worst because he is overly verbose.

But I really liked book one, cause it was well-written and Brom and Eragon's relationship was interesting. Spoiler of book one in Inheritance Trilogy:











I was disappointed when Brom died.... :(

Welcome to the forum. I found Eldest a bit of a drag most of the time, but i love Eragon, im re-reading it for like i believe my 4th? time??yeah.By the way Edoc'sil wyrda i love the back to the future movies!i have them!

haha yes! i actually forgot about those movies until they came on tbs like 2 weeks ago and i was like OMG i love this! *runs to store and buys them*
