BTW I was thinking, a girl should get the green dragon egg (or Roran) and then the black dragon (forgotten his name) since it never bonded with Galby should bond with someone good! :D Wouldn't that be great!!!
 
I'm actually thinking of Inheritance as more like LOTR. I have a few theories of my own (only theories, and I doubt they'll be in the book):

Near the middle, Eragon and Saphira have a fight. Actually, it's more like Eragon shouting why Saphira chose him, because everything has been going wrong. It ends with him yelling that he never wants to see her again, and he storms off, leaving her in tears.
Saphira turns herself in to Galbatorix and Eragon finally realizes what he's done. He goes off to get her back, which is when he encounters Galbatorix. During that duel, Saphira enters, probably with Murtagh and Thorn, and, though she is bound to Galbatorix because of the ancient language, just before he kills Eragon she gets in the way of his sword, giving Eragon a chance to kill Galby. Eragon saves Saphira, of course.
 
I'm really wondering why CP hasn't released info about Book III. There is a part of it in the Deluxe Edition of Eldest, which I don't have, but other than that all he's said is that there's a green dragon.
 
...is there a picture to back this up? And it's spelt Glaedr, so you were close. I know in Eldest DE, there's a section from Book III at the end, but that's all the public has scene of Book III.

no your wrong it is not called Gladre, that was just a special poster for the special edition there is just a preview of a chapter from the third book, maybe CP hasnt given much info out because maybe he isnt even near to being finished.

Well, I wouldn't like it either if Murtagh died. What I meant was that it would be funny b/c that plot would be sooo similar to Star Wars :p (more than it is now)

As for book 3, I hope Eragon and Arya get together (b/c we all know she's just lying to herself) and maybe MurtaghNasuada? B/c otherwise (not counting Thorn) he'd be too lonely. And they can all be a happy family...with Roran and Kat of course...YAAAAY! :

Nah...Shruikan thinks that he really is Galbatorix's Dragon. He will be loyal to his master until the end.
It is rumoured that Book III will be released on August 11, but this is unconfirmed. And Christopher Paolini has made it clear that he is nearly done with the book, but not quite.
Book III, to be sure and backed up by CP, has a tilte of E-----, like the two previous books.
 
Is anyone buying the 2 disc? The dvd comes out march 20th, is anyone gettin it? I might get the 2 disc but most likely the 1 disc b/c i wasnt that thrilled with the movie.

I probably will; I get the 2-disc special edition of everything (Finding Nemo, Narnia, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events...) :p I have to have all the extra stuff...I'm actually hoping that the extras on the Eragon DVD will somehow help me appreciate the movie more...

Wouldn't it be awesome if the Green dragon rider was a new female character and she falls in love with Murtagh? :D :p

Ah! I had that idea too!! I was going to write a fanfic about the 3rd book and Galby's daughter being the next Rider...actually, she'd be a kid still (and a good one :o ). And Eragon would be her mentor...and Galby would have absolutely no clue she existed...:D

Btw, does anybody know if those deleted scenes are actually on the DVD? B/c if they are, I'm definitely buying it. There should be an extended edition too...
