You cannot go in the Mod Lounge without permision from the Mods, Abby. The thing fears the Can, lieke, it will not touch his clone machine.

Like we would know, since we don't know what it is (i'm guessing it's either HB's long lost brain, or an unidentifies kind of living creature... maybe it's the same), we don't know it if respects or fears the Can, nor do we know if it has any chewing gum at all.
