ooooh..yea....

I mean isn't amy 'married' now (i swear it kind of reminded me of Romeo and Juliet) how can she think of being with Ricky?

Now that I think of it your right, Romeo and Juilet didn't want there parents to know of there marriage nor be at it. However Ben's dad and Amy's parents arn't hostile enemies like Romeo and Juilet's parents.

yea that is the one difference.

plus the age thing in the play Romeo is supposed to be 16 and Juliet 13
and talking about Romeo and Juliet
GUESS WHAT
I was reading about india eisley yesterday and i found out that her mother played Juliet in the sixties movie version of the play.
Isn't that really weird?

that is strange theorangejello, but also facinating. I love Romeo and Juilet.

If you could change anything about The Secret Life, what would it be?

Amy has 6 votes now!!!!!! Did she already had 6 because I thought it was 5. Otherwise I seriously need glasses

No your eyesight is fine, she had 5 votes and now she has 6. She's winning! :D

If I could change something about Secret Life, I would have Amy be more honest with her folks and not walk in rebellion so much. Afterall she was suppose to be the good girl. :)

Tomorrow the new episode aires! What do you think will happen? Will we have this love tirangle sorted out? Will Amy have the baby? or will we only get to see the Reception and the struggle with parents to accept Amy and Ben's marriage?

*gasps* That's true!!!! I have the picture in my book, and Juliet has the same eyes as India Eisley!!!

Baked Nevada *Spoliers*

I saw the new episode and I must say my feelings are mixed. For starters I guess I better address that Amy and Ben aren’t really married, not legally which should have been obvious in beginning. I will say I have lost respect for Anne Jurgans who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. She gives great advice to her daughters but seems to have weakness now revealed to be like that of Adrian. Ricky remains a jerk who is two timing by posing as Grace's boyfriend while hanging out with Adrian at night.

Ben's head seems to be cleared, he realizes getting married with fake IDs and without Amy's parents permission wasn't a good idea, however Amy seems indifferent. She seems to what the easy way out of everything and was willing to do whatever it takes. Her love for Ben is in question now, because as Anne says so eloquently that love is more than feelings it is action. It is making sacrifices and doing what is best for the baby. However these words are hard to swallow when Anne Jurgans is busy hooking back up with her husband and yet still wanting him to move out.

It seems whoever is writing the script is double minded, because one moment people want to do the right thing, talk about the right thing and even do the right thing per say and then the next they abandon all reason. I guess this is to depict the verse were Paul says "I want to do what is right, but I keep doing the things I don't want to do." To make matters worse The Bowman’s marriage seems to be on the rocks and it seems only a matter of time before Grace ends up in a bad situation with Ricky.

The only other character that seems sane is Ben's father who speaks the wise words "You can't have everything you want.." Ben responds with Amy wanted to get married and pretty much the blame shifting game and Ben's father responds "Don't you use that as an excuse, you can always do the right thing and you don't use excuses like Amy to justify not doing the right thing, you always do the right thing always!"

As for other teens at Grave High School, Jack seems to have turned a new leaf by taking the fall for making the fake IDS. However his heroic act of selflessness is overshadowed with the fact he is bailing out a person who deserves to be punished and that doesn't care that he took the fall. Morally Jack seems to be coming back around, but his taking the fall for the guy who makes fake IDS to me doesn't qualify as a good act worthy of making him the so called 'Good guy'.

Adrian remains basically unchanged, the only new element would be her father who has suddenly taken interest in her life. Henry remains hormonal and seriously needs to use his brain power on something else than thinking about sex. In climax of the show Amy finally has no secerts and has reality thrown in her face by her mother. She also feels the baby move for the first time, which causes her to become even more fearful. Ben seems interested in staying by Amy, but Amy's true colors have yet to be revealed. I don't know if she loves him truly or is sadly using him as fail safe.

The preview of the next episode reveals something terrifying. Ricky's abusive father has shows up in town and it looks like he's after Amy and Ashley!
However appearances can be deceiving, we won't really know until next week. So far I'm still hooked on the series, but I am beginning to question the morale foundation of the series.

 Ricky's father???
And I agree, the person writing the script isn't doing a very good job of continuacy (or whatever it's called) because it gets really confusing sometimes... but I still love it. :p

Yup Ricky's father is coming into town , I think I now understand why we saw Ricky crying in his car in the last preview.

Spoiler!

The Information below was submitted by a member of ABC.com

The scene were Amy hugs Ricky has nothing to do with romance, Ricky is merely thanking her for agreeing to lute him be apart of the baby's life. Ben miscontrues this and believes Amy loves Ricky and he asks the question "Who do you love?" Amy can't decide and instead says "I love this baby". So it looks like Amy is finally deciding to focus on the baby instead of her love life.

YESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness! But I hope she still ends up with Ben...

I hope that too, but until Amy's parents agree they can wed they arn't going to be together offically.

What do you think Amy should do? Keep the baby and live a harder life as a student, mother and worker or should she seriously consider adoption?

I just checked out some of sneak peaks on ABC and there looks like there may be hope for Jurgen's marriage. :)

Plus I didn't know Jack's Dad was a minister.

Yeah he was... remember Grace went out with Jack only because of that? (Or something or other... it was mentioned).
It'd be nice for Amy to be able to keep the baby, but... I think adoption's best.

Yeah Jack mentioned he only went out with Grace because his father wahted him to. As for Amy, It has been interesting her keeping the baby, but I think It would be best if she gave it up for adoption. Her life would be much easier and the Baby would have a better home (afterall the baby doesn't need to be brought up in a home with two fighting parents). Amy has wanted the easy way out, except for giving the baby up. Even though I like her, I think she's a true narsasist, she wants it all and doesn't care how it will affect others.

Father and Son:

I saw the new episode and I must say that my opinion of Ricky has changed. Perhapes he is good guy deep inside, underneath the mask and pain. His father is a real creep, that is for sure. I agree with you Abby, I'm not sure what to believe about anyone now. Some characters seem to have show a better side of themselves, while others it still remains uncertain where there alliance lies. I must admit I like the addition of Reverand Stone, Jack's step father. He's a real nice guy and he isn't ap ushy preacher who tells people what to do. He's just available and willing to help. I like when Amy's mother met with him and she began talking about going back to school and working.

She finally has realized that her and Amy are alike, that apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I think Ashley's pre-concieved ideas of Christianity and minister's have changed. She seemed really willing to open up to Rev. Stone, which is big deal for her. As for Grace, she really is clueless and I fear with Ricky's dad in mix she risks getting really hurt. Everyone is vunerable now, especially Ricky. I very curious and excited to she what happens next, I fear from what I've seen from next episode that Ricky in the end might attempt to commit suicide.

It wouldn't be surprising since he's seeking anyway to run from his pain, and in end when he can't he may just decide It's not worth living. I must say that this episode was great, very well written, not confusing and random like the last one. It seems that maybe, just maybe the writers of Secret Life are listening to the fans. :)

I agree. This was the best episode yet. I still haven't sorted out my thoughts about them quite yet (I'm very confused about what to think about ANYONE).
