Ok now I'll post more I guess.;)

Chapter Six
Catduels

Caspian lunged at the tom, who quickly side-stepped him.
As he tumbled down the young tom tried to pin Caspian to the ground, but the kitten whipped over on his back and the tom-cat was thrown back.
Snarling in rage Caspian lunged at his foe, sword ready and drawn. The tom drew his sword and met Caspian in a ferocious onslaught.
Slash, duck, jump, parry, thrust. Caspian repeated the basic process of fighting his older brothers had taught him.
The young tom cat was discouraged. Whenever he threw a blow at Caspian the littler cat would duck or jump. Angry he had been foiled by such a young kitten, the tom rammed Caspian hard in the chest.
Caspian had the breath knocked out of him, but he was used to it by then…. After all, he did have quite a few older brothers.
Leaping up, not stopping to catch his breath, Caspian whacked the tom up side of the head with his sword flat.
The tom gave Caspian a few stunning blows that would have knocked out any other kitten, or cat, but not Caspian. He ignored the blows and fought on.

Tigerclaw was surprised that the she-cat had tried to attack him, but he had no time to ponder it. Missy landed on him like a bolder. He gasped for breath as she held him down.
Missy was old but not fragile. She had fought before and could do it again. She slapped her paw, claws out, against Tigerclaw’s shoulder, and then dug in her claws as he thrashed about.
Emitting a howl of pain as Missy’s claws dug into his shoulder, Tigerclaw snaked about in the grass, thrashing on his back in hopes of throwing his oppressor off.

The two young combatants became tired after having more of a boxing match than a duel. Caspian and the young tom agreed to a respite and went to their appointed places.
“Is he beatin’ you up to bad Cas?” Mozart asked gently as she rubbed him with her tiny paws.
“No worse ‘en when Strength, Kenny, Toto an me used to play. Even sometimes Faith’d join in, that was way harder than now.” said Caspian bravely.
Mozart nodded worriedly despite her brother’s assurances.
“Still, maybe we should stop, you’ve proved your bravery defiantly, with all those blows you’ve been a-takin’.”
“Sis, I ain’t stoppin’ till these folks say I win or he wins. You’re just gonna haveta deal with it.”
“Don’t you mean, duel with it?” said Mozart, then the two of them broke down laughing.
“Combatants back to the ring!” cried the announcer.
“C’ya Cas.”
“C’ya Mo.”
The boys were at it again.

Both!
And no I was um... Say "NO CASPIAN!" Yep. That was it.

tsk tsk. Dorthy, tell her what we do to bad kitty's.
Dorthy: I take my medysin and I'll shove it down her throat and make her eat it all day, like mama did with Faith and Kenny when they wouldn’t take their medysin.

You'll see where^ that comes in in the story latter.;):p

Missy released Tigerclaw when she estimated the kittens were safely hidden away somewhere. She scrambled off the tom and started to run…
But not fast enough.
Tigerclaw yowled with rage and speed after her. He quickly caught up with her and pounced.
At the same time Tigerclaw pounced for her, Missy leapt onto a tree-trunk. But Tigerclaw’s dagger claws dug into her haunches as she jumped into the tree, leaving him almost dangling from her.
Missy grit her teeth and with her powerful back feet and sharp claws hit Tigerclaw until he let her go.
Blood beginning to appear on his unappealing orange face from Missy’s claws, Tigerheart let go and thinks for a moment of his orders.
‘I was to get those kits, not antagonize old she cats. Cogg will not be pleased if I return empty-pawed.’
Sighing Tigerclaw walked off, leaving Missy to her peace in the tree.

After making sure the other cat was gone, Missy jumped down from the tree and began cleaning her wounds.
After awhile Missy got up and wandered off into the bushes for a few minutes. When she came back out her wounds were treated with one of her own mixtures. Then she walked back to where she had been picking berries with the kits.
She was not noted as gone or missing on any list, nor was the fight between herself and Tigerclaw. Unknowingly Tigerclaw had secured her safety by making all the guards leave the premises while he was in them. By the time the guards were back, Missy was picking like she had never left. And nobody noticed the old cat’s wound.

Caspian and the tom were panting and worn. It was far past noon and they were dealing each other some stunning blows. Scratches, scrapes, bruises, bumps, were all forming on the two young cats.
Caspian could feel his energy draining. He felt he could not lift his sword again to deal another blow.
The young tom-cat, was whishing he had never challenged Caspian. The little cat was proving tougher than he first thought. Latter, Mozart and Caspian would find his name was Jaklikeo the fierce. Jaklikeo, or Jak, as he was known to most, had much vengeance for Cogg because the wolf had captured his older brother… his only family. These things made him fierce, but he had no idea that such a kitten as small as Caspian could be so hard to beat!

Mozart could see her brother was exhausted and that his opponent was tiring. She began waving to Caspian somewhat franticly. Eventually he saw her. Wondering what was up, he called a respite and Jak agreed.
Stumbling over to Mozart, Caspian panted,
“Sis, what is wrong?”
“I was trying to get you to do just what you did.”
“Oh, ok… what’d I do?”
“Oh you silly,” giggled Mozart, “call a respite, that’s what you did! You were both tired so I wanted you to have a break!”
“Oh yea, thanks.” said Caspian, he felt lightheaded suddenly.
Mozart sensed something was wrong and asked, “Caspian, you ok?”
Caspian seemed about to say something, then suddenly tumbled off the log he was sitting on and onto the ground, unconscious!
“Caspian!”

Chapter seven
Mozart’s Bravery and Catlition’s Cunning

The big gray leader of the Catlition leapt right over the big stone wall surrounding Cogg’s plantation and fortress. Well he jumped over it, but from a high up tree-branch.
“Now steady, gents,” he said when they were all over, “We’re gun’ta go on through this field and see iffin we can find anyone to tell us where we have gotten ourselves to.”
“Okie doke Chief, we know the drill. Look for anyone, help anyone.”
“Righto Bright! Good boy for rememberin’ the rules, eh?” said a large black and white cat.
“Alright enough chit-chat. We aren’t a bunch of old she-cat’s sittin about gossiping are we? No my friends, we are the Catlition! Come on now boys, lets go!” said the big gray cat. He smiled at the way their newest recruits leapt into action. He remembered the little black tom they’d left at home, a brave solemn, spunky little lover.
‘Now what did we call him? Oh right, Midnight Mitch! That boy and his sister, what a pair! I wonder if he actually stayed at home, or if he’s following us? He’ll be about grown now, ready to train when we get back. He’ll be a real leader when he gets into Catlition with us, oh yes, yes he will.' The big gray and white striped tom chuckled and trotted ahead of his ‘Catlition’.

Shadow was breathing hard after running so fast.
The little black kitten didn’t know how long she stayed in the gutter, but she knew she couldn’t stay there forever. When Shadow decided it was safe to come out she climbed down from her place in the gutter and crept out. The sunlight shown on Shadow’s dull coat, if she had ever had time to clean it though it would have looked beautiful.
Shadow crouched and began to creep away. She was almost to the edge of the woods when she heard a soft noise. Frightened, but curious, Shadow battled within herself weighing her options.
Eventually her curiosity won out. Shadow crept towards the noise oh so carefully.
Soon she could distinguish voices speaking to one another.
“Well boys how’d we get from the field to the wood?”
“How should I know? We just charged right intow the woods without a care.”
“Hush, you lot are louder than newborns when its lunchtime! Do’ya know how many creatures may be listening? Birds, mice, and who knows what else, eh?”
“Aw Rib, you ole worry wort! Whose gonna hear us anyow?”
“That’s Mister Ribbony worry-wort to you Clancy Catlition apprentice!”
Seizing her chance and trying to make her voice as big and brave as she could, (Though I don’t think it worked very well) Shadow shouted,
“Alright, we know you’re there! We have you surrounded! Come out with your paws up!”
The chatter ceased. Shadow heard a whispering voice say,
“Now boys leave this one to me. I can handle them. Explorer, head the group if anything goes wrong and charge head on at that leader’s voice, alright?”
“Right Ribbon, count on us.”
Shadow checked herself and cried again,
“Come out NOW! I wanna talk with ya!” her kitten slave-slang gave her away I’m afraid, but it was a noble effort she made nevertheless.

Ribbony, the big gray Catlition leader stepped out to find himself confronted with a tiny black kitten with a white spot on her chin. Her head was held high as she stared terrified at the huge gray-cat-with-white-stripes.
Ribbony shook his head and chuckled.
“Hello there little one. What is your name, now come on I don’t bite.” He spoke gently and kindly to her, but Shadow was still scarred by her memories of things that had happened that day. She tried to bolt, but was gently picked up by her scruff by Ribbony and taken to the little clearing with the other Catlitioners.
“Ribbon, were we being challenged… by that?” asked a gray tom.
“Brightheart! Why speakin’ like that to a little baby kit! I outta knock you down!” exclaimed a large cream-colored cat.
“Little one, what is your name?”
“Where are you from?”
“What is this place?”
“Are there more of you really?”
“Silence!” boomed Ribbony, “We have not come to talk kits to death! Now little black one, pay my brothers and those naughty youngsters no heed, my, my, we should have brought that little Middy instead of his big brothers, my, my!”
Brightheart and Clancy, the two younger cats did the human equivalent to a blush. Their ears turned bright red and they hung their heads sheepishly.
“Now,” asked Ribbony gently, “What is your name?”
“S-Shadow.”

****

“Caspian!”
Mozart ran her tiny paws gently over her brother’s head and neck. Then she found the cause of Caspian’s ‘defeat’. A long ugly scratch ran down from his lower neck to his shoulder. It had happened to quickly for most to tell and no-one is quite sure how he got it. That wound and his smaller ones combined with much exertion caused him to lose enough blood to faint. It wasn’t a permanent effect, but it was presently a problem.
Mozart went to work. In a time period of ten minutes she had Caspian’s wound bandaged and was working on the others, ignoring interested on-lookers and their questions.
“Will he be able to keep fighting?”
“Is he ok?”
“Is that little one his sister? She’s no more than an infant!”
Jak walked up triumphantly.
“I guess he’s down. That means I win.”
Mozart was up staring into his greenish eyes in an instant, standing on a log and her tip-toes she could still not meet him eye-to-eye, but it was close enough for her.
“Not so fast, you weakling kit! My brother’s out of the game for now, yes, but he wasn’t still fighting! So he should get a substitute in his place to finish this fight with you. After all,” she smiled, “Caspian never said yet that he gave up.”
“Fine,” countered Jak, “Who’s gonna sub for him? None of these chaps, they’re loyal to me, right boys?”
There was a muffled cheer from the congregation. Mozart held up her head and said,
“I’ll sub for him!”
Jak turned to her.
“What did you say?”
Mozart smiled.
“I said, I will sub for my big brother.”
Jak’s mouth dropped open and nearly hit the ground.

Chapter three
Depart with Gifts

Mozart was awakened by her mother gently shaking her.
“It is time.” Said Myrrh solemnly
Mozart got up without a single word. She picked up her white cloak and fastened it around her neck. Then she attached her pack to her cloak through a sturdy clip and looked at her mother.
Myrrh nodded and brought the tiny kitten to where her siblings waited. They were dressed similarly to Mozart except their cloaks were gray. Into each cloak was an embroidered Red Lion. Mozart took from her pack a small white scarf and tied it around her neck.
Myrrh came to them bearing some kind of burden hidden inside a large burlap sack. She set it down and went to Toto, the oldest and firstborn of the four kits.
“Toto firstborn, as a gift for your journey I give you these.” Said Myrrh as she uncovered a sword dagger and sheaths for them both from their wrappings. Toto took them silently and said
“Forever I will keep them and use them as I can, to defeat my foes and make a free land.” Then he took them and put them on his belt. The gem on the pommel matched his brown-green eyes.
Then Myrrh went to Caspian, secondborn of the kits.
“Caspian secondborn, your gift are these which I now give to you. Use them well, son.”
Caspian watched as Myrrh uncovered another sword and dagger these still in their sheaths.
“I will protect others with my life as I use these.” He said bravely, “None shall stand when my siblings are challenged.” He hissed. The gem on the pommel of his sword matched the fire that burned in his eyes as he vowed to defend his siblings.
Myrrh smiled at the kit’s defiance then went on to her firstborn daughter, Dorthy.
“Dorthy firstborn daughter, I give these to you for they shoot straight and true.”
Dorthy’s gift was a bow arrows and a dagger. The bow was intricately carved with beautiful markings. The dagger’s gem was green, the color of Dorthy’s eyes.
“I will not lose my arrows and I will not break my bow. I shall be first to shoot and last to run out of arrows and retreat.” She said ever defiantly.
Myrrh smiled and moved on to the last of her kits.
Mozart lastborn.
“Mozart the lastborn of my kits, to you I give the most precious gifts of all.” Said Myrrh and threw back the covering and exposed a bottle of cordial, a blue stone on a necklace a dagger and sword.
Mozart gasped and said, “Mother, I hast no words to express my gratitude for these gifts, but tell me, what are they?”
Myrrh smiled “They are special gifts for a special kit. The cordial is rare. It is a gift given to me long ago from kings and queens. It is the cordial that comes from far away and can cure any injury or illness you may have. The stone is just as rare. I found it one day while I was wandering. It makes you invisible.”
“Invisible?” asked Dorthy, “Why that’s impossible! Er, isn’t it, mama?”
Myrrh chuckled “No m’dear it is quite possible. I have done it.” Gasps came from the amazed kittens.
“Here I will show you. Now you see her,” Myrrh put the stone on Mozart, “Now you don’t!”
Frightened gasps came from the three kittens.
Mozart had vanished.
“Where is she? What has happened to her?”
“Mama what have you done?!?!”
“Mozart, Mozart, where did you go?!?”
A giggle came from the spot Mozart had been standing in. Suddenly the tiny kitten burst out laughing and rolled on the ground taking the stone off as she did.
“Mozart!”
“What is so funny?”
“T-the look on y-your f-faces when I disappeared!” gasped the little kitten between fits of laughter.
“Hahahaha, you look like you’d seen a phantom! Oh hahaha! It was so soo sooo so funnnny!!!” Hehehahahohoheha!”
This continued on until Myrrh said,
“Alright kits calm down. It’s time for you to go.”
At once the kittens became sober.

Myrrh accompanied them a little ways into the wood. Then she said sadly,
“Here I must leave you. But before I do I have something to tell you;

Be careful my little adventurers
Watch out for danger
Be careful
You do not stray,
From good to evil,
Any day.
Oh little ones oh little ones,
How I wish you could stay,
My heart screams
‘Do not go away do not go away!
Little ones little ones,
Stay stay stay!’
But my little ones,
Go away,
Go now,
Run!
To
Your
Destiny!
I love you!”

And as she finished the kittens obeyed, and ran, ran to just what their mother said,
Destiny.
They're running towards me!!! aAHHHH the gifts seemed familiar! haha. Love it so far.
