well, you see... *skips long explanation about conversation maxims and implicatures* if you want to understand posts in dufferland, it helps to read the duffer-required reading (which you will find in the order of the can, and just generally hang round dufferland. what you have to understand is that explaining duffering is
a) extremely hard, because some jokes have developed over years and years and years of insanity and are so deeply engraved in the minds of duffers that they find themselves unable to explain without bursting into song
b) ruining the funniness. like explaining a good joke always does. which is a mean thing for jokes to do, but no bribing has helped so far
c) punishable by death by cliff by falling off by being pushed off by a duffer of your choice by pming them as to which day and time suits you for receiving your punishment.
i hope this helped and did not confuse you further (you might also try erasing everything you don't understand, which will leave you with nothing, which is exactly what most duffers mean when they post
)

i was suggesting the other day that we should all try and post relevant things in our posts. there's not much sense in people interrupting good dufferish conversations by posting "huh what dot dot dot the donkey fell down a crater and ping pong is officially declared green in fourty states". and that's all that's happening in the insane asylum anymore.
