"I did. and that is exactly why I requested you. I know we've had our...troubles but as a captain and on the most important mission of my life I wanted to set a few things right," he half smiled, "and like I said I didn't think they would actually do it."
he laughed this time, "My faith may be missplaced at times but in this case I am glad it worked the way it did. I am not saying it will be simple for either of us but I am still glad."
"Well, I suppose I could break a few of my habits as well. Besides, you're not too bad of a guy. And as much as I hate to admit it, you'll be a good captain," she added, rolling her eyes.
"It's a foreign relations mission. Why waist experts when they could do some good else where," he turned to her, "That would be their thought process....not mine."
"I am sure they were plottin gon how to anoy you best beyond putting you on my ship." he teased. that was nother thing Sasha never did with his crew. he never teased.
"They always do," she replied, shaking her head sadly. "But then, when I get annoyed, I just turn to the people annoying me. Maybe, just maybe, they're trying to get rid of them and they send them with us to get rid of them!"
