Twilight with a Twist (the millionth try)

Mara stood up, still laughing. Her hair was dripping water down her face and her clothes clung to her. "That was fun," she said, her eyes sparkiling.

suddenly Rez mad a run for her grabbing her and pulling her back into the water

Mara laughed as she fell back into the water. She reached up and pushed her hair out of her eyes. "I thought you were hurt," she said, "or did you just want simpathy?" She asked teasingly.

Oh hurt.. he cringed at the thought of blowing his bluff btu it worked in his favor, "I was trying to be a man and suck it up." he teased back

"Oh really?" Mara said, "then this wont hurt." She said as she shoved him into the water again.

he grabbed he waist pulling her down with him. he came out of the water still holding her and suddenly froze. he realized his arms were wrapped wround her waist and their faces were very close.

Mara stared at him, being this close to him felt weird, but strangely good. He wasn't normal, she knew that now, but she wasn't sure what excatly he was.

R4ez swalloed hard and let his hands fall to her hips but he didn't move.

Mara could feel her cheeks turn red as she blushed. She looked away, embaressed.

Suddenly scrambling to is feet he smiled, "Man this water is cold," he said hoping to distract from the awkward moment

Mara laughed slightly. "Yeah, you weren't kidding when you said it was cold." She stood up and ran her fingers though her hair, trying to keep it from knotting

" hardly ever kid about the severity in heat...or the lack there of," he smiled at ehr slowly stepping away from teh water

Mara walked up the beach to were her shoes were. She was still dripping water. She could at Rez, "could I posibly barrow a shirt?"

"yah sure," he smiled walking back up the beach

She smiled. "Thanks," she said as she slipped her flip flops back on.

Rez couldn't think of anything to say to fill the silence that had fallen between them. he was very thirst now and he needed to hunt.

Mara glanced over at Rez, "ready to go back?"

Rez nodded, "Yah I think we better."

Mara smiled slightly. "ok." She walked up the beach and to the road.

he didn't know what to say but as they got closer he forced a smile," hey thanks for bringing me home and hanging out. I really enjoyed it."
