She got up and put their dishs up " I'm glad want something sweet now?," she asked.

Mara stared at him, she wished she knew what he was thinking.

"say something please," he asked sitting up again

She came back with a cake " Here I made myself I hope you like it it's chocolate," she told him.


Alex shook his head " I got lost in thought sorry about that sweetie," he told her.

"Perfect," he said taking a slice and tucking in.

"Its fine, i understand, i just make you loose your train of thought dont i," Eleanor replied smiling.

She just watch him eat for awhile " I'll be right back I have to do something," she told him, her eyes where black now.

he closed his eyes so he wouldn't look at her, "anything," he breathed. the legends must have been true. he just figured it didn't apply to a half vampier

"Ok sure," said Aaron not noticing her eyes because the cake was so good.

She came back sitting next to him hooking her arm into his " You look tired then I am," she told him, giving him a kiss.

he closed his eyes so he wouldn't look at her, "anything," he breathed. the legends must have been true. he just figured it didn't apply to a half vampier

"Are you ok?" Mara asked as she touched his arm.

He melted at her touch and his heart raced faster than it ever had. The legends were true then even for someone like him. But it was different than they had said. All the stories told that it was one instant when you looked into her eyes you were gone and there was no coming back. With him it was slower but he could feel its pull on him…soon he would be completely taken in by her not able to come back, not that he even wanted to.
“Everything is,” he swallowed hard and kept his eyes shut, “everything is fine.” He sounded like he had been running for a hundred miles, completely out of breath and almost trembling.

ic. "You sure?" Mara asked gently touching his forhead. "Your hot," she smiled sightly as she realized how dumb that sounded.
