he shook his head, " You may not understand this but the only thing that will take me away from your side is either my hunting, or you telling me to leave."

"Ok," Mara said slowly, staring at him. She had no idea what he ment but as long as he didn't leave she'd be happy.

he layed his head on her heart and closed his eyes. other than her voice it was the most wonderful sound. he wondered how long it would take for his to stop beeting

Mara looked up at the sky. She wondered how long this would last, how long could she stay here? "How long have you lived here?"

"three years." he said glancing up at her with his chin resting on her chest bone.

Mara smiled slightly, "it must be nice, to be able to stay in one spot that long."

"Yah...well here on the reservation they understand me better." he propped himsel fup on one arm, "Granted they only know half of me but all the same." he smiled pulling a hair out of her face the the wind was plaing with

Mara smiled, "how do you keep such a big secret? I couldn't do it."

"after 300 years you get sort of used to it." he smiled touching her cheek

Mara smiled at his touch, "yeah, I guess you would. I'm glad you told me."

"well you are the only one who would really understand." he wanted to kiss her again but he held back. he didn't want to push her...it was her choice

 

[Gentle Voice]

"Im not that tired," he said rubbing gently at the dark circles under her eyes.

She smiled "Well I'm tired I think I go see if I can see," she told him, getting up pulling him with her.

Mara thought for a minute, "I guess your right." She looked into his eyes, she was glad she was laying down of she would have fallen down. She put her arm around his neck and pulled his closer till their lips touched.

he didn't resist...he couldn't. he would give her what she wanted with no questions asked.

Mara pulled away slightly and looked up at Rez, "I thought you didn't want to get this close," she whispered.

"well that was ten minuts ago," he smiled, "in ten minuts a lot can change."

Mara grinned, "I'm glad," she said then kissed him again

this compleate devotion he felt towards her was the strangest thing he had ever known. he would do anything for her if she asked...anything. he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her back

She smiled "Well I'm tired I think I go see if I can see," she told him, getting up pulling him with her.

He obeyed the pressure and followed her.

Mara closed her eyes for a moment and just relaxed, Rez smelled so good. "When do you need to be home?"
