Yeah, so do I.
I mean, if Will/Skandar/Georgie had been in a movie before--they probably wouldn't have been in LWW! (Anna was in a movie before --The Little Vampire--but no one is going to remember her for that, are they?)

So, totally. But I think that maybe they should branch out from just European kids and go for some other kids in the world.

I think you'll have to be happy with Aravis (I'm guessing they'll have to cast an Arabic girl-where will they find one?). I think she's the only one who doesn't fit the English type that is so common in the series.

I don't mind if they cast Americans or whatever, but I'd only hire them if they could fake a good British accent. I read about an American actress who was talking in her "British" voice to an actual Brit actor and he was completely fooled. He thought she was a fellow Brit.

well..actually i've always sorta seen Polly and Jill as looking very similar I know that the books depict Jill as having dark tresses and Polly something in blonde.

Um, how can you tell? Have you seen pictures I haven't? In my copies of Narnia (omnibus volume), the pictures are black line art. I honestly don't know if they're blonde or have dark hair, unless it says so. And I didn't really notice if the books say anything about it one way or another.

Thanks for voting in my poll, peeps!!!
I totally agree with what all of you said.
The only one of the kids (meaning Peter/William, Susan/Anna, Edmund/Skandar, and Lucy/Georgie) who had ever been in a movie before was Anna, but she was so young (the movie was 'The Little Vampire') and she didn't get well known at ALL for it.
So, totally. But I think that maybe they should branch out from just European kids and go for some other kids in the world. Have you noticed that the three major fantasy series in the world right now are European? (Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings) And they ONLY CAST EUROPEANS???

I mean, way to give Americans and Asians and Africans a chance to show their stuff! (Acting abilities, I mean!)

but do you have the accent? you can't very well come from Great Britain through a wardrobe and lose your accent. (not that they are coming through a wardrobe or anything... but you get the idea)

for Jill I think that the girl who played Violet in a series of unfortunate events should play Jill. I mean if she kept her hair brown and stuff and made a little shorter and straignen it out

That picture is Camilla Powers - Jill Pole!

You are talking about Emily Browning. emily is an Australian actress and at the moment she is either 17 or 18 so by the time they satrted shooting The Silver Chair she would be 25 or something!

arent they making the silver chair at the same time as everything else though?

still Emily Browning is too old right now.
