Up is my favorite kid's movie ever. Not only did it avoid crude humor, but it was it an enchanting story. It embraced childlike wonder, and was beautiful and bittersweet and hilllarious at the same time. In an time when most kid's movies are either filled with gross-out moments, humor intended for adults, or are so vacuous and annoying that only a five-year-old could like it, it was nice to watch a movie that the whole family could enjoy. It was much better than Cars, (which was kind of boring and had too much crude humor for my full enjoyment), Monsters INC., (which was weird), Walle, (which was boring), and even The Incredibles and Ratatouille, both of which I like a lot. In fact, it was even better than Toy Story 3, although I know most of you would disagree.
