Walden Media talks about Narnia

The first prime minister of NZ called it "God's own country." or something like that cause its so beautiful. but i heard Caspian was going to be filmed in Ireland...
 
Urm, never called Aussie that!!!!


I am excited to hear more about PC now - I want them to hurry up and decide where their filming, but of course I don't want to rush them!

exactly, I will be quite upset if they film in Ireland.. it seems so cool for them to shoot in NZ :D

I havent in my whole time of living in New Zealand heard of us calling Aussie the west land. we call it plainly Oz, or Auzzie i guess.

I really cant wait either till they hurry up and tell us about whats happening with PC!!!
 
No it hasn't started filming yet, and they haven't started casting.

There might be video's you know - just random stuff mentioning filming of it, what's happening, location etc.

I expect it will be on one news or 3 news, if they find a location, or if anything happens, in the Media world to do with Narnia.. there seems to be quite alot of stuff on it lately.. about movie companies and different things like that.


off topic, but did you see that Kiwi bird, who was given an artiffical leg, as he was born with only one, made by the WETA workshop team, responsible for some of Narnia things.

What do you mean your agency??? and sure, if I find anything on tv, or the likes, I will of course send it in... once I figure out how :p
and I just thought you might like to no, about the Kiwi.. but you ovbiously dont....

Well, I know what you're saying but you realise that it's being filmed there because they want the 'beautiful area' on film... And surely (though I don't live in NZ I can speculate) a country like New Zealand which had relatively little media interest on a world-wide scale (pre-LOTR) would benefit from it...

Plus, the same could be said of anywhere. Personally I think Ireland would have been just as good - I've been to some pretty awe-inspiring locations on the West Coast. And the Irish economy would probably benefit even more; and it'd be cheaper to make... If I was making Prince Caspian, I'd shoot it in Ireland. :) but I'm not, worse luck...

You have to remember as well that the scenery (while still of course important) plays less of a part in PC than in LWW (with all the snow/spring stuff). Anyway...

sorry guys to say this byt why always new zealand yeah its a lovely place so is the republic of ireland. and lewis is from there. most of us are gettin fed of people saying nz is better. im sure it is but so are britain and ireland. but i dont want make anything of it but england and ireland are lovely.they have not decided where to film it yet. but you lot are upsetting some of us. :(

Since when did we say that New Zealand was better? we just said that it was cool that it was shot there. We dont get very much publisity (sp?) outside of our own news syestems, so noone really knows anything apart from about our scenery, as they see it all in movies.
Ireland is a wonderful country, and the scenery is just as amazing, I have been there a few times, not sure what part/ north or south but, still I guess anywhere would have to do :D

It all comes down to Andrew Adamson and Walden media to decide the final filming location!
