Wow, it's really quite interesting how much religion influences your views on other people. I, personally don't belong to a religion (and neither do any of the guys I know) so it doesn't make any difference to me.
 
Well for me, religion isn't just something that I do on a Sunday morning, but it is something that influences every aspect of my life. Therefore will only marry a woman who believes what I believe and trusts in the same providential God. Otherwise, the relationship would not work, because there would be fights about everything in life.
 
Also, following on from what Smog said. If I went out with a non-Christian, she would accept that I loved God more than I loved her... an I think thats too hard a concept for an athiest to comprehend. They would feel cheated - so it could never work.

theres a difference between believeing in him and following him. for a long time even i went through not following him. Jesus commands us not to be unequally yoked with people not of our faith.

1 corinthians 6:14 "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" (NIV)

please understand, i dont want to offend you, i just think that since you are my sister in Christ i think you should be aware of this information.

I agree. I would say that #1 priority is definitely a man who is a devout Christian, the kind of man that is defined in the bible. As I see it, I do my best to the godly woman God describes in the bible so there should be a man out there that will hold to that definition as well. :)

C. Smart, i can't stand stupid people
D. smarter than me, everyone not as smart as me is a stupid person :) , this makes it easy for me to get my homework done. :D
E.Truethfull, I dislike people who frequently lie, especialy if it's to me.
