The Book of Eli:

Movie: The Book of Eli!

Rating: Six Stars! Two Thumps Up! :)

Review:
The book of Eli takes place in post apocolyptic world. Mankind has lost all hope, except for one man, a distant waunder who has been tasked with protecting the last Bible on Earth. While Eli seeks to finish his journey by reaching the San Fransico he stumbles upon a town run by a ruthless man named Carnegie who is seeking a book. It turns out that book is the one Eli possess. However instead of using it to set people free and give mankind hope, Carnegie seeks to use it as a tool to control and opress people.

Eli unwilling to aid Carnegie finds himself in a battle, where he must choose to safegaurd the book as he always has or save the life of a woman he has grown close to on his travels.

Features: The Book of Eli features verses of the Bible read out loud by Eli. It even features scenes with chapters like Genesis 1 on the big screen! The Journey of Eli is a discovery of what it means to be a Man of faith and how to enstoll the faith properly unto others. Eli discovers that his destiny goes beyond safegaurding the Bible, it means implimenting it in his life and lives of thers.

I highly recommend this film. I must warn that young children and those who have difficulty with intense scenes and graphic brutal battles reconsider it. Otherwise it is the movie of the new decade, the Passion of this age. A major blockbuster with at last an evident Christian message.

Nothing lately. I didn't have time to watch anything at all....thanks to the train

Trains Eh? They're just as bad over here! Well I don't get much chance to watch anything apart from a bit of news but I did recently watch Brüno, the latest offering from Sacha Baron Cohen.

Whilst I chuckled from time to time watching Borat, I just cringed with this one. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The trains over here are really bad......there was something going on so no trains were riding between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Yes the fast trains did. Don't you just hate it to take the Train????

I definitely wouldn't watched Brüno. I have seen some trailers but I don't like it.

Last movie I saw must have been 2012. Nope, Jurassic park II of course :D

I saw a man named Kevin Trudeau being interviewed on TV about ways to get out of debt. He warned about how credit-card companies treacherously sneak in extra fees at every excuse. But I confess, my attention was more focussed on Suzanne Sena, the spectacularly gorgeous lady who was interviewing him.

The lesser-known version of "Beauty and the Beast" starring the exquisite Rebecca de Mornay. Apart from some dull, empty songs, it was pretty good, sticking fairly close to the original old story without huge amounts of embellishment.

The pilot of the original "Galactica" series WAS a television movie, coming out on the heels of the first-made "Star Wars" movie. In fact, LucasFilms tried to sue the company which made "Galactica," even though the stories were not even remotely the same.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E......"The Thrush Roulette Affair". Awesome episode.:D

GI Joe and Wolverine... lol. Watching GI Joe made me ticked off at my older brothers for taking all their Joe toys with them when they moved out (leaving only broken vehicle handmedowns) so me and my youngest two brothers never got into it  And Wolverine was better than I thought it would be. Interesting and cool if you're interested in the characters.
