What was the last thing you watched?

Saw the last of Frozen. There were some good songs, but man did they over do it. The worst part was the two sisters arguing in song. In a good Disney musical you feel that the singing is really an expression of feeling, and yes the characters are singing but it is not part of the direct interaction of the characters.

It's definitely not on the level of most Disney classic musicals, but I still felt it was a good movie overall. I really like that the prince is the villain instead of being the one who marries the princess!

Thor- The Dark World

I got super excited when we rented it from the weekend because its got the Ninth Doctor in it as the evil alien villain which is one of the most ironic things ever. Haven't finished it though because prom was last night.

I got to see "Frozen" in the electronics department of a store. It was less irritating than I had been led to expect. Yes, the prince was a creep (NOT the first cinematic princely creep, as witness the "Shrek" movies and "Spaceballs"). But "Frozen" did not try to convince us that ALL males were worthless; what's-his-name who rode the reindeer was a good guy. So I can simply allow myself to be gently indifferent to "Frozen."

Characters singing to each other AS their dialogue is at least as old as opera.

The rest of Thor 2.

Loki got the best lines in that movie. xD :p

But doesn't he always? I mean, he's Tom Loki Hiddleston. It's just natural. :D ;) (I did love Thor and Loki's back and forth banter; it was quite hysterical. Especially when they were trying to fly off in the ship.)

Once Upon a Time: A Curious Thing (3x19).

Glinda's limited role made me roll my eyes. And the whole 'halving heart' thing with Charming and Snow was silly (of course it worked! Why wouldn't it work, for pete's sake?!). Not to mention: Henry just had to hold the storybook in order to get his memories back? Um, can we say, "cop out"?

Part of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, "The Way of the Warrior."

and JAG: Ice Queen. Every time I watch this episode, I'm amazed by how much NCIS has been able to improve over its initial episode. I really hated Gibbs in these two episodes, but now he's one of my favorites. Goes to show what a little revision can do to your characters. ;)
