Which couple is funnier?

Okay, which couple do you think is more fun?
Legolas and Gimli or Merry and Pippin?
We all know in the books they weren't the same as in the movies but I have chosen the movie couples

Legolas and Gimli... I loved the way they are always competing! AND the drinking! LOL! It was soooooo funny!

lol. Their both hilarious!! But I'd have to go with Merry and Pippin. I love how much they get into trouble together and they saw some REALLY funny things.

what about sam and frodo, didn't anyone find them funny? frodo in the movies got so weak and fretful, he wasn't that funny. sam was funny, though.

Legolas and Gilimi were hilarious. They kept count of how many they killed and competed in everything.

Merry and Pippin were pretty funny too, always getting into trouble.XD

I always loved the book Frodo his reply to Sam about the elvish rope. He wasn't that much convinced about the power of this rope.

Oh well in that case, I'd have to say that Gimli and Legolas were funnier. Merry and Pippin were only funny during a couple of parts, but Gimli and Legolas had those counting scenes.
