Who Do You Want To Be The Voice Of Aslan?/ Brian Cox is the voice of Aslan!!!

I must say, I never thought about Brian Cox for Aslan. Or at least, if I had thought about him, I forgot. Brilliant casting!

Brian Cox was Stryker in X2 (X-men United) and I think he was Agamemnon(sp?) in Troy (never saw it, but that's who he is)

I personally think he has a great voice for the part. I really like Sean Connery, but I would have been devastated if he had been cast. Brian Cox rocks.

I don't really have an opinion because I can't hear his voice in my head... O wait I know who your talking about. Haha haaa, It's fine with me, it all depends on what the finished product is! :)
 
Oh, man! I wanted Sting to be the voice of Aslan. Oh, well, I hope he's the narrator.
 
Heard about the news, so last night I had to go watch, and more importantly, listen to some of his work. So I watched the Bourne Supremacy, he's in boths movies and plays the chief bad guy. I gotta admit, I really like his voice. This could work.

he was in a film i was half watching last night, and even though it was afew years old his voice was just perfect- he's got a very slight accent, well not even an accent more of lilt to it- I'm so relieved Connery's not doing it- that would've caused and uproar - his voice is viewed with a certain comedy value over here, although he was a good Bond!

This is obviously an old thread. I don't think I'm that familiar with Brian Cox although the name does ring a bell....wait, I just saw it there on the list. There was the newer movie RED DRAGON with Ed Norton and of course that had Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Lector. I saw the old version directed by Michael Mann and that had Brian Cox as Lecter. Now I remember.

I can't see him voicing Aslan, since we're all familiar with Liam Neeson's deep, warm voice.
