You'll never guess what?!.. (please don't delete)

Charles Barkley, a lovely basketball player who used to play for the Phoenix Suns in the USA walked past me exiting the gym one day and said, "Good evening," and I said, "Hey, how ya doing?" and walked right on by until my girlfriend said, "That was Charles Barkley!" I said: next time I am going to be prepared for Charles Barkley and memorized a speech, just in case. But I never saw him again until years later in the bacarat lounge at some Vegas casino -- I still remembered most of the speech, but he wasn't playing for the Suns anymore, so I had to modify it: "Charles Barkley, you were the most exciting player on the Suns team, and they're not even worth watching since you left." Pretty good, huh? He said, "Thanks! That really means a lot to me."

Hooray! You've had conversations with a 'celebrity' - that definately puts you ahead so far!

I think Paul MacCartney drove past me once.

My aunt dated Robert Duvall. She also played Monopoly with Al Pacino. He cheated! Ed Sullivan winked at my mom in an airport.

I got to carry Michael Phelps clothes and stuff around for him at a big swim meet one time.

Right thats it! Im gonna go out and stalk some celbrities so I can beat you all. Ill steal some of their clothing - will that get more more marks than Inkspot???

as a canadian, i met by hero @ a hockey game. not only is he an atlethe, he was the best hockey player of his time.

i shook hands with Bobby Orr, and had a conversation with him 4 5min @ a minor league hockey game

I couldn't sit by and watch this thread any longer. I have to say a few things.

I sat next to Peter Jackson to watch The Bad Taste Movie at the Bad Taste Reunion a few years ago. (he also signed my mates shirt)

My best friends dad was in LOTR. (when the hobits first go into The Prancing Pony in the first movie, it has a shot of a guy with untidy orangy hair giving them a dirty look. He takes up most of the screen.)

and Last but not least, I had drinks and played a game of pool against Jack Black at a bar in town while he was here for the filming of King Kong.

That's just called showing off Monk- but I am secretly jealous!

WHB- it depends on what item of clothing you steal!

I have an aunt who looks like Ian McKellan

Ugh - people who have that many famous aqquaintances are just weird and stupid! *currently glowing green with jealousy!!!!!*

well my mum's, uncle's, dog's, best friend's, boyfriend's, son's, master's, second grandson twice removed's, cousin's, school teacher's, grandfather's, brother's, doctor's, wife's, step-son is Orlando Bloom :p

John Rhys Davies used to come into work occasionally. I had a nice chat with him one day when I was training one of our servers.

I got a hug from Amanda Tapping at a Sci Fi/Comic/Anime Convention.

I'm just trying to remember if there was anything else lol.

I ADORE John Rhys-Davies! Does he SOUND as great in person as he does in films (and on TV)?

Most of you Narnia kids are too young to remember the original debut of "Raiders of the Lost Ark," about a billion years ago, but that is where I first noticed Rhys-Davies, because of his fabulous voice.
