Charles Barkley, a lovely basketball player who used to play for the Phoenix Suns in the USA walked past me exiting the gym one day and said, "Good evening," and I said, "Hey, how ya doing?" and walked right on by until my girlfriend said, "That was Charles Barkley!" I said: next time I am going to be prepared for Charles Barkley and memorized a speech, just in case. But I never saw him again until years later in the bacarat lounge at some Vegas casino -- I still remembered most of the speech, but he wasn't playing for the Suns anymore, so I had to modify it: "Charles Barkley, you were the most exciting player on the Suns team, and they're not even worth watching since you left." Pretty good, huh? He said, "Thanks! That really means a lot to me."
