Third Narnia Shoots In Mexico
The third installment of Disney and Walden Media’s The Chronicles of Narnia franchise will move its production to Mexico from New Zealand, where the previous two installments shot, Variety reported.

On February 7, we posted that Voyage of the Dawn Treader filming was going to be pushed into the fall. We received word that filming was still on schedule to start in the summer. However, now we’re hearing straight from Prince Caspian himself that film has indeed been pushed to November for a start date. We’ve also confirmed with Disney that the November start is correct.

Voyage of the Dawn Treader Filming Pushed to November? -UPDATED
The same article in Variety mentions the start of shooting for the third film in the series: The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It seems that the WGA strike has in fact pushed the start of filming from the summer into the fall of this year. Filming was originally scheduled to begin around June, and now it appears that production will ramp up in November.

We’ve been hearing for quite some time that filming of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was threatened by the WGA Strike. The script has yet to be finished, and Walden Media would have to hold off on filming the third Narnia for a few extra months. Filming begins in Auckland in June
Shooting for the first of the Narnia films starts in June. A crew 200 strong arrived in Auckland New Zealand today and was welcome with a Powhiri. Shooting will take place in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.
