The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Storyboards?

Last time we posted something from an unknown source, we had to promptly take it down. I’m going to take no chances here. Mundo Narnia has what appears to be storyboards from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Granted, these drawings are very non-descript. They give nothing away, really, and they are merely scenes that are in the book. Nothing too exciting, but pretty interesting none-the-less.

One shows what looks like the eye of a dragon, with The Dawn Treader reflected in it. Another shows what looks like Reepicheep with an eye patch, being spun around by Eustace. There is also one that shows what could be Lucy, Edmund and Eustace floating in the water.

If you’re curious about them, you can check them out at Mundo Narnia.

  1. Unless of course its a massive coincidence, I believe they took those images from a post i made on NarniaWeb the other day, where we were looking at old concept art and storyboards. Those particular storyboards were in the “random” folder of Tom Nelson’s online portfolio. I made a best guess estimate that several of them could *possibly* be from Dawn Treader, though its purely guesswork.

      • In addition to the 3 images i suggested as “possible”, i believe MundoNarnia have incorrectly identified at least 2 images as VDT. The horses walking past the market stall matches near exactly to several similar images in the PC folder which are clearly marked “Prince Caspian” at the top. Also, judging by the ID number attatched, i am 90% certain that the image of the hill belongs to LWW or PC.

  2. Neat! I went to the link and tried to translate it into English. Well, I found out that “something” is going on. (Maybe next year I should study Spanish a little more!)

  3. It’s portuguese!
And the images are not there any more, Thomas asked us to remove them.
