Narnia.com Updates Image Gallery, More

Here’s a new picture of Lucy in the Magician’s Library from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This is a beautiful shot of a magical moment in the film. It’s one that I would not write about back when I saw the footage from this sequence earlier this year. It has since been shown in the trailer, though, and now in this screenshot.

There is also an update to the map of Narnia, and soon you’ll be able to explore the islands!

  1. They also changed the writeup about Lucy and dropped the reference to The Last Battle and her death. They also added to the profile of those that log in. More of a points system has been added.

    • You can also now post achievements on Facebook and Twitter. Since I’ve been publishing, some of my friends are in on it now too!

    • I’m pretty sure she wears that outfit, or a variation of that outfit, for a large portion of the film.

  2. This room and this scene is exactly how I imagined it! I can’t wait to see it in theaters!

    • I don’t even remember this scene! Guess I should read the book again… what happened in this scene?

      • in this scene, as it is in the book, lucy hears voices, she then goes to tell caspian, edmund, reepicheep, and eustace. all then go on the beach where the invisable ppl (can’t remember what they are) tells them that lucy must go in the magician’s house to break the spell, and to make them visiable again. lucy then goes and finds the magician’s book, the picture above is from this scene.

        • There is no snow or anything though in the Magician’s Book scene in the book, so i’m not quite sure what the original poster was talking about it being “exactly how i imagined”.

          • What I meant was it evokes the same magical feeling that came about as I read the scene from the book. There may or may not have been snow, but it’s just as magical. Another little thing: It reminded me a little bit of the first film when Lucy first discovers Narnia.

          • I think Queen Helen has it. I’ll bet that Fox/Walden will play up many parallels between this film and LWW. The reason for this is box office sales. There will be many slight variations to get the general public into the theater. Profits mean more movies.

            Happy birthday Georgie.

          • ya I didn’t remember any snow in dawn treader and when I saw that It kinda worried me

    • man, she’s 15 now? it’s still a little difficult to believe that the little girl who walked through the wardrobe 6 years ago (some might say five, but the filmed LWW in 2004). she’s really growing up.

  3. Still more of the map has been revealed. The map is easier to navigate. The destinations seem to be Narrowhaven, Magician’s Island, Goldwater Island, Ramandu’s Island, Dark Island and Aslan’s Country. More points and achievements can be earned. More to come.

  4. i dont get what happens when Lucy opens the book, i mean, like she blows on the letters and they get mixed up. what do they say?
and why she looks like Susan and then whats with the snow?
