Bid on Weta’s Reepicheep Statue on ebay

When Weta made statues surrounding Prince Caspian back in 2008, they only produced 100 Reepicheep statues.  They sold out before they were even produced.  It seems that they kept the first one that they produced.  And now you have a chance to own one of the very rare Reepicheep statues.  Not only that, but it is the first one created, and signed by the man that sculpted the piece.

Here’s what Magnus said about the auction offerings:

Reepicheep #1, signed by Greg Tozer who not only sculpted this piece but also did some work on the conceptual sculpts for Aslan and other characters. Plus a signed Crafting of Narnia book.

Bid on this auction!

    • and by that I meant ‘if I ENDED up bidding I wouldn’t win…’ I never win 🙂 So, no I didn’t bid 😀

  1. The $70.00 shipping is probably understandable in light of the careful packing that will be needed to assure no damage. In particular, the sword and the tail appear delicate enough to be easily damaged if great care is not taken.

  2. I wish I could afford this for what it will go for. When these came out, my husband wanted one, and I convinced him not to buy it so I could get it for him for Christmas. I stupidly pre-ordered one from a third party, and it kept getting delayed and delayed. The online store filed bankruptcy, closed and never refunded my money. I am angry that I got ripped off, but I mostly just feel really bad for not giving my husband an awesome gift on our first Christmas.
