Just a few hours ago I saw a movie called The Way, and I really loved it. It captures your heart almost from the start, and by the end of it, you feel as though you know all of the characters that are on the journey. There are very emotionally moving parts, and you really feel like you’re on the emotional journey with each character. I have a feeling that I would get something different out of the movie each time that I watched it. Not to mention, it has a connection to Narnia: Simon Andreu, who played Lord Scythley in Prince Caspian. It’s a small part, but he’s quite good. Here’s a letter direct to you from the Director and the lead actor of The Way, Emilio Estevez and his father Martin Sheen.
Narnia Fans,
We’re excited to recommend a new film called The Way, starring Martin Sheen and directed by his son, Emilio Estevez. Filmed along one of Spain’s most famous hiking and pilgrimage routes, the Camino de Santiago, The Way is a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends, and the challenges we face while navigating this ever-changing and complicated world. It’s currently playing in over 100 theaters around the country, with many more opening this October.
We would be thrilled if you would go see this remarkable film in theaters and help spread the word to other Narnia fans. Please share this email with others and use the links below to watch the official trailer, find a theater near you and purchase a ticket.

Cool! Sounds interesting!
My wife GayLynn and I saw THE WAY this past weekend. I can honestly say it is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Hit all the best emotional marks without being preachy or having an agenda. I would highly recommend this film to anyone looking to spend a couple hours enjoying a story filled with meaning and inspiration (in its truest form); don’t be surprised if you want to be a pilgrim yourself.
Blessings,
Darren Scott Jacobs
