The retreat was amazing. I met a lot of people, and the preacher had some really good, solid messages for the youth of our day (mostly on marriage, conversion, and baptism). She also mentioned some of her experiences with exorcism, a matter I know too little of and need to give more thought to.
I had quite a few "but what if" questions, but I had to remind myself that there are always exceptions and that I would be unwise to undermine her messages, especially when they are so solidly grounded and would serve our community so well.
Overall, it was amazing.
I'm Protestant, grew up with a largely Baptist background, though I'm recently discovering more and more Calvinist leanings. I'm assuming (though one never ought to assume) that you grew up in a Catholic family?
We're so glad you're back too. Forgive me if I'm prying, but may I ask what some of the things you learned over Lent were? Feel free not to answer, though. I'm just curious.
