  • Hi Benisse,

I liked the picture but I especially liked the chinese words. I think about our brothers and sisters in China on fire for the Lord and being persecuted for it.
    Hi Linda.
That's exciting for them. When I was there, it was a company called "Midamerica Productions" (MAP), which organized the concert. I wonder if they also organize the concert, your son will sing at.
I'll surely pray for them. Let me know, how it goes. :)
I'm Laila, by the way. "Liz" is an abbreviation for my middle name, Elisabeth.
really?Sweet!!!I saw the props at cosi when it was around where I live, and I got to go in the millenium falcon, and we got to go in the trap rooms and stuff.:)
Hi Benisse. No, I don't know Lux Aeterna, and for some reason the link you gave me doesn't work.
I'll try to find it some other way.
Wow, your son will perform at Carnegie Hall!! That's really exciting. Only the best perform there. And some of the rest of us, if we're very lucky.
I have been there as well with 300 other singers, and with an Icelandic conductor. We performed Mendelssohn's Elijah, an Oratorium for soloists, choir and orchestra. That was a great, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I'll pray for your son, that he may do well. How has he got the opportunity to sing there? I'm impressed :)
Your comment quite literally made my day. It is a blessing to /serve/ here because of amazing members like you, and thank you for your encouraging words. May you be richly blessed today as well.
o thank you! i will enjoy that i am sure, and your son has been prayed for. my flight ti NJ to see my kids and grandson is tomottow; same day John comes back from NV. he will take care of my cat and dog while i am gone. my dog GingerPeachy has a crush on him---lol--no, really, she does!
All is well here! But I do have to say I'm very ready for summer break! I came home Tuesday from Philadelphia! That was an amazing trip! Seeing Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, Valley Forge! It was great! I'll have a busy summer this year, but it's mostly just one day events. I will be going on a mission trip in July up in the Appalachian mountains. Looking forward to that. My uncle is getting married in June and they would like for me to play the Bridal Chorus and the Wedding March . . . SO NERVOUS! Which reminds me, the advice you gave me on memorize songs was soooo helpful! I now have my song memorized! Thanks!
Do you have any summer plans?
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm good :) yep the dinner theater was fun, that's cool that your son was in a play production of the King and I :) yes i hope the fair outing is affordble for me i think it will be :)
Thank you for taking notice. I took my wedding ring off at last on Saturday evening. Every time my left thumb touches the ring finger, it feels wrong to find no ring there; but I really wasn't given a choice about Janalee departing, any more than about Mary before her.
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm good, yep i've been on a road trip with hollywood dreams before we went to another city in OR to a dinner theater & spent the night at a hotel, then we went shopping at the mall there the next day, if i can afford it this year i'm going to the fair here localy
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm good thank you for asking, no i have no desire to become an actress, although i was in a play put on by our club to raise donations for this club, anyway i think they call it hollywood dreams because it helps psyically challenged people to be treated normaly, i have a few road trips that i'm intrested in going on this year :)
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm sorry i haven't kept in touch i think we are on the forums on differnt times of the day and i haven't been able to reach you, you can email me if you want to, have the best week ever
You, rightfully, are the FIRST person I am notifying that I have BEGUN the "Flying Girl" sequel!!
My thanks to your aunt! The "child's life" saying is definitely usable, because my projected sequel involves the son of the Iron Merchant being affected by the shadow of his superhuman father.
That sounds like the choir I conduct. My church is also quite small. We sing for Christmas and Easter mainly. I haven't learned anything about conducting, just do my best. We sing easy songs. Sometimes we make a quartet or trio, and sing something a little bit more advanced. I enjoy it. People do their best, and sing to the glory of God. Great!!
Hi Benisse. I'm impressed, you must be quite proficient. :) I've played at church for some years, not right now. Do you conduct choirs?
