  • Thanks Linda! I appreciate it. I think the snow was controlled by people coming through. The kids loved it! It was an interesting experience to go through it both times with small children and Narnia site admins. The first time I went Specter was with me and the second time I went Kristi was with me. So many perspectives. I loved seeing the costumes and props up close. There were several interactive bits and several bits that could not be touched. It was a phenominal display. They don't allow photography or video equipment inside. I hope it will go to CA.

Thanks again for the prayers! *Hugs*
    Hi Benisse.
Thanks. I teach the recorder, piano, choir. I don't coach voice, but I've taken singing lessons. And sing in several choirs. Music is great. Do you play/sing yourself?
I'm glad you liked it Linda! The exhibition was awesome! There were several costumes from both Narnia films and loads of props. It was a fun experience. I took both nieces seperately and they loved it! They thought that they'd gone to Narnia. If you're planning on going sometime let me know. I didn't know to look when it was here, but if you see a Cornelius figurine in the gift shop, let me know. Only 200 were made and I know someone very deserving who really wants one.

I hope things are going well for you. I got laid off last Monday and I'm now in search of what God has for me next. I'm excited about the changes, but my whole family has now been laid off of their various jobs and it's frustrating in many respects. Ah well, blessings to you and your wonderful family!

hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm good :) we only went to one luau and that was at a hotel on the big island of Hawaii, it was very good :) i've never been to a tradtional one, i've heard that they are considered sacred by hawwians and you can only go to them if you are invited :) have a good week :)
That's a riot! I graduated high school at 17 and whipped through college in 3 years. It was fun while I was doing it because I loved learning -- but then I got out of school with no clue what to do with my life ... I'm lucky to have landed where I have. :) What about you, did you skip a grade or just blast through uni?
I finally got your package in the mail yesterday. Sorry it took so long. I wish we had more to send out, but at present what we have is limited. *Hugs* I hope you'll have a wonderful week!
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm back from vacation from hawaii it was relaxing & fun we needed it :) Happy belated Easter to you too :)
Thanks Linda! Today I'm going to pick up my mom and we are going to my sister's house. Knowing mom she won't stay long but at least she has been away for a while.
Happy resurrection day to you too!!

Thanks! I always make my banners myself. It is fun to do and even more to try out different things
Wow! That's a really good idea! I can see how that would work. I'll have to try that. Like you said, I started off at the beginning of the piece and have most of it memorized but near the end I get stuck! This will probably help me a lot! Thank you!
Does it come easy for you to memorize? I have a recital coming up and I STRUGGLE with memorization. My teacher doesn't understand because she keeps saying I'm young and when I get older it will really be a struggle (I think she thinks I'm just lazy and am not trying hard enough). But I really have a hard time. Do you have any tips that might help me with memorizing pieces better?
Thank you Linda. Yes, she was my friend since way back in youth group, my sister in the Lord, and the wife of our pastor (also friend from youth group). I miss her but I am sure her husband had it tougher.
