Does it come easy for you to memorize? I have a recital coming up and I STRUGGLE with memorization. My teacher doesn't understand because she keeps saying I'm young and when I get older it will really be a struggle (I think she thinks I'm just lazy and am not trying hard enough). But I really have a hard time. Do you have any tips that might help me with memorizing pieces better?
Thank you Linda. Yes, she was my friend since way back in youth group, my sister in the Lord, and the wife of our pastor (also friend from youth group). I miss her but I am sure her husband had it tougher.
Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart are my favorite composers. The problem I have is, I don't remember the names of the pieces after I play them
Do you play the piano for church? I have a hard time playing hymns. I wish I didn't because I would like to play in church more.

Math is not a favorite subject of mine. I make average grades in math but I just don't really enjoy it . . . I miss the good ole days of basic math

I'm so glad I do have an idea on what I want to major in college and what I'd like for a job after college. I do enjoy research, but I'm not too crazy about writing. It's a real struggle for me. It seems I get writers block before I even start

My mom still loves country music. She has new mdeications to take away her panic and depressions. And she is making progress! Even the nurses were surprised how much progress she made!! She even remembered my other brother who visited her a few weeks ago. -
