  • Dad's bodily health is better, thank you. But his mind remains trapped inside its own self-made fortress of trivial worldly things, designed on purpose to keep Jesus out.
    While you're here:

Anticipating my "Flying Girl" sequel, can you provide me with any chengyu on the following two subjects?

    1) A son feeling overshadowed by a father who has enormous accomplishments, even though the father does not mean to make his son feel inferior.

    2) The realization that earthly kingdoms finally perish, no matter how strong they are for a time.
Hey there, I seem to remember that you moved after LionCon...and I didn't want to send a prize to the wrong address. Could you send your snail mail address to me via PM please? *Hugs*
Thanks! I am happy with my new Narnia shelf. I got another set of the books just because of that. Now I have three sets.
I thought your drawing was charming, and I'm so glad you liked the avatar. Enjoy, and congratulations again!

I pray your mom will be healed. How is she doing now? *Hugs*

Lord willing things will work out well with LionCon final stuff. We have a tax professional working on it all. It was worth the expense. I wouldn't do something like that again unless it was done in a different way and we had a set budget in place to cover various costs. But, for this time, God provided well. Please just keep praying it will all be wrapped up well. Thanks so much!
Thanks much for joining Burkitt's Byron On Wells Boosters! Welcome!

Did you know he does our podcast too? It's NarniaFans Cast; you can access it from the home page. I had a lot of fun doing a couple episodes. He is such a good actor and narrator. In fact he is so good at so many things, it keeps me quite humble :) Hope you have a lovely Sunday.
hello benisse, how are you doing? wowww that's cool that your kids got rewards at school, you saw a baby octopus in a lab??? cool i like sea life, how's your week been?
Mostly it shows support and interest for a person and/or topic. You can say as much or a little as you like and see what other folks think. I created this group for John so he can feel encouraged to see how many folks in TDL like him and his writing, and to show folks who know him only as "The purple mod" that he is also fantastic published author.
If you only just join, we will be delighted to have your avvy in the list of good company, and that will bring the total fan count up one more. Good to have you stopping by my page!
hello benisse, how are you doing? i'm good, the PC problem has been fixed so far, how's your week been? mine's been good :) just got off work :)
I miss you and Aaron and Eden! I hope things are going well for you all! Life has been hectic for me since LionCon, but I'm hanging in there. I'm still working on the final taxes from LionCon, but it should be all finished soon. I wanted to send some hugs your way though. I was blessed to get to meet you all!
I have 2 children, a 10th grader son Aaron, and a daughter Eden in 6th. Both of my kids are special, but my daughter also has Down syndrome. We all love music, so we'd love to share with you when you come in town. Maybe even my mom will sing some hymns for you...

So glad to hear your mom is doing well. May God grant you a good visit with her on Sunday, and a fun time with your brother's family on Saturday, especially with Rachel.
    Hi Linda!
How many children do you have? The same nasty cold is over here as well. A lot of people have been sick but fortunately I haven't caught it yet. I'm glad your son didn't catch the cold! Especially with a lot of important things to do it would be sad to have a cold just at this moment.

Are you singing in church as well? If I go to LA I hope I can hear your children and you sing! This would be awesome!
Tomorrow I'm going to visit my little niece Rachel. She is 7 years old and my youngest brother's daughter. I take my camera with me so I can tape her.
My mom is doing fine at the moment which makes me happy. I'm going to visit her again on Sunday because tomorrow I'm away the whole day. The sun is shining here and it looks like spring is coming soon! This always makes me feel happy.
    Hugs to you my friend!
    Vanessa
